"I hired Giove Renovations the first time to help me with a kitchen/dining room overhaul a few year back. They turned the two crowded rooms into an amazing bright open space. They added small trim and crown molding to make the cabinets and room in general look amazing and custom-made for the space. They made suggestions that didn't increase the price of the job, but improved the functionality and overall look of the space. From suggesting to include small shelves to soften the end of some cabinets to staining wood switch plates so it would blend into the side of a cabinet. We were so pleased with the work before they finished that we decided to do all the remodeling on the first floor that we were considering for future dates. That included changing a drop ceiling into a regular sheetrock ceiling, moving the laundry room from the basement to the first floor and adding laundry area cabinets, upgrading a basement wetbar and adding decorative tile work, refinishing existing hardwood floors and installing new hardwood floors in the kitchen and laundry/mudroom. The next time I hired them they added a door to connect the main house to the attached garage and a second door from the garage to the backyard and an overhaul of the garage including additional insulation and paint. This very last time I hired them they painted 3 bedrooms, installed a bunch of doors and 2 sets of double doors which needed a saddle installed as well. And the craftsmanship for all of that work, the big and the small stuff was meticulous and just amazing. Not a stray drop of paint or misaligned corner anywhere."

About 13 years ago, while living at our previous residence: JM remodeled and modernized our full Kitchen, two full bathrooms and, after many tries by other contractors, he was able to stop a leak from our roof at no charge. About 10 years ago, at our current residence , JM remodeled and modernized our full kitchen and did a unique job of updating 4 large sliding closet doors. He removed the cheap inserts, and replaced them with 1/4” high quality plywood into the frames. He then, using wood molding, he made the face of the doors look like real wood doors. Doors were stained and look like expensive oak doors! JM comes up with excellent suggestions, alternatives, and expense saving ideas.
