Additional cost based on travel from previous job was a complete surprise and an additional charge. I understand travel to my location from office, but not based on travel time from previous job further than the office."

"Ernie, from Modern Plumbing, came on time and ready to work. He had to work very hard to remove the old galvanized pipe, most of which was behind some cabinets. I was glad to give him a hand because it actually took two people to do some of the job. I was very pleased to see that Ernie was willing to listen to my concerns, he was respectful and diligent in the way he carried out his duties. He did cut a couple of pipes two short, which forced him to do additional work, thus lengthening the duration of his visit and the final cost of the project (Modern Plumbing charges by increments of 15 minutes). There was some time idling in the van both before Ernie came in the house and after the job was completed, which I was also charged for. The project was a bit in the expensive side, but I was satisfied with the work performed. <br />"

"We first hired Petro Plumbing to finish some plumbing in a bathroom we were adding. They did an awesome job. Two years ago we called them to address a leak in our basement. The plumber that came was obnoxious and left dirt and debris throughout the basement. We scheduled an appointment with them last week for today, July 26. At the time of the appointment, I received a call saying the plumber scheduled to come was ill but that someone else would come between 2:30-3. No one came and there was no follow up call to cancel. No one responded to the call I made. Ten years ago I thought them awesome. The quality and professionalism of this company has certainly changed. I would not recommend them."
