"We first had them come out and finish our basement and add a bathroom. They were the lowest price, which actually concerned us a little, but we'd heard good things about them so had them do the work. During the estimate the contractor and a design/scheduling person came out. It was great because we got ideas from the design person, who also makes sure that everyone is where they are to be when they need to be there. The work was done and done right. Mahris does a good job of making sure the subs they use know what they're doing and are professional. We were pleased with the basement, so had them come back and do the family room and upper level bathroom. The work took a little longer than we would have liked, but based on quality and how easy they were to work with it was well worth the extra time. <br />"

"After reading reviews on Angie's List we had a concern about Bower Construction because of the single F grade he received (though that grade is because of inability to connect, not any performance issue on the job). When I called to set up a meeting to look at the job, he was able to come within 2 hours, in the afternoon. Provided us with an estimate that was over $400 less than anyone else we had over for an estimate. <br /> We scheduled the start time for a week later, but just before the weekend he called and said he got an opening over the weekend and can come early. He came over with his employee and started on it on Saturday. Worked very well, kept the area clean and left it spotless when done two days later. <br /> We actually remembered, after the estimate was given, but before the work started that we actually have another side of the wall that we need done (bare drywall that we put up). That was added and the work done on it with no problem at all, and no extra charge. <br /> We will definitely hire him again. We paid him today and asked him for another estimate on some more work around the house. <br /> Very friendly, responsive, and professional. <br /> Highly recommended! <br /> <br />"

He used protective equipment and stayed on site to eat his lunch managing his time on the job. We are VERY happy."

"<strong><em>We attempted to obtain bids from two other local  providers and didn't even receive return phone calls from them.  After obtaining Terry's name from Angie's List, we telephoned Terry and he was in our home within the hour to give us an estimate.  The estimate was somewhat broad as it was not possible to determine how difficult it would be to remove the old wood flooring that had been glued to the cement slab in our kitchen-dining area. He gave us several flooring options and even assisted us at Lowe's to select appropriate material.<br /> When it was time to start the work, Terry appeared promptly when he said he would.  He removed the old flooring, which was difficult, but worked very quickly and efficiently. The following day, he again appeared promptly and commenced installation of the new floating Pergo flooring.  He again worked quickly and was able to bring in an associate to handle a plumbing item when that became necessary.  He knows a variety of workmen in the area and has the ability to get things done.<br /> Terry was truly professional in his manner and workmanship and we are thrilled with the results.  He was very fair in his pricing and the job came in considerably under estimate.  We would have no hesitation in referring him to friends and neighbors as he truly "delivers".  We have another project pending and he will definitely be our first contact when we are ready to proceed.  Thanks to Terry and to Angie's List for the recommendation! </em></strong> <br />"
