"This crew of four people did an incredible job with the basement. They had to move a very large number of boxes and items so they could sweep the entire space from ceiling-to-floor and wall-to-wall. They then repeated this entire process with water, disinfectant, mops and scrub brushes. They scrubbed the whole place down...again moving items about so they could clean the entire space. They ensured surfaces were dry before placing anything down. It is a large, old, unfinished basement and this was no small task. The estimate for this part of the job was much higher, but they worked so quickly and thoroughly that they cut the cost down considerably---to my benefit. <br /> The vacuuming was thorough and they did an incredible job on the floors--even getting down to hand wipe them down to ensure that they were clean and dry (hardwood and ceramic tile). <br /> The upstairs bathroom was spotless. <br /> The only negative to the entire experience was the downstairs bathroom which was cleaned by the team supervisor. <br /> Problems: <br /> - The toilet was not scoured to remove the ring and rust stains. I even educated the team about using grill screens to clean the toilets. It makes toilet cleaning 1000 times faster. (I used to do commercial cleaning.) <br /> - The bathtub was not thoroughly cleaned even though I specifically pointed out problems. The rust stain was not removed and the soap dish still had hard, old soap in it. <br /> - The sink was not thoroughly cleaned. Mineral deposits around the faucet controls were not cleaned and again the soap dish was not cleaned. <br /> I should have brought all of this to the team's attention immediately after the appointment, but time got away from me. They were such a great crew and they did such a phenomenal job on the other items, I was surprised to find any problems. <br /> I would hire them again, but I would make sure I was clear on my instructions and, I guess, I would have to check their work. "I called Nikki and she said they could be here the next day (or that same day if I had only needed the carpet cleaned (and not the tile, but I did). The two-man crew showed up the next day. They called ahead as promised and arrived on schedule. They explained what they were going to do and gave me the quote, and then they began work. They moved most of the main furniture (recliners, end tables, love seat) and cleaned the entire living room. They laid down some type of enzyme treatment to fight the order, and applied scotchguard treatment to the carpet. They cleaned the tile well and picked up the area rugs to take them back for treatment at their facility. They did a good job. This was a bit over a week ago; they returned the area rugs yesterday and offered to unroll them for me. The crew was friendly and professional the whole time they were here, and they did good work. The prices seemed reasonable and I would hire them again in the future."
