Josh took time to accurately look into the project by scaling the roof and exploring the attic and exterior walls, and suggest a range of repairs possible, including the one we agreed upon. He assembled a team of subs including experienced metal workers and stucco workers, all needed for the complex job. He managed the team, including his own people, keeping a schedule and keeping us apprised of progress. "Chase from Excel Renovation was great to work with regarding our residential garage roof leak. He was very personable and there was excellent/ professional communication in talking through the potential issue and then scheduling a time to meet. Chase ended up starting with a simpler repair approach first, re-fastening and re-sealing a roof flashing, which we agreed was the right thing to do for our type of roof leak (very small leak) and for this cold time of year (late Nov). He was very honest in what he thought was the likely issue and digging deeper right away in our case, instead of just resealing and testing first, may cause more harm than good. He would not take any money for the repair…I tried though. :-) He said to keep an eye on it during the upcoming rain and snow melt(s) and he could always dig deeper if needed in the spring, removing interior sheetrock and then applying water with a hose over suspected area on the roof. If you’re looking for an honest company that won’t steer you wrong, give these guys a call. I highly recommend this company and I would definitely work with them again!"

"I had three contractors out to look for the origin of a leak that was causing damage to my living room window, woodwork and floor and none of them could find any sign of a problem. One of them advised me to remove the gutter on that side of the roof which I did not do fortunately. Finally I found Jason on Home Advisor who agreed to come out immediately on a Saturday afternoon to take a look. When he saw all the debris from overhead trees, he decided to thoroughly clear off the roof and did a thorough inspection, which led to his finding the problem--a small slit in a metal shingle. Then he had to find a matching shingle (had been discontinued) and it took a while to find a source. Once he had it, he repaired it by reinstalling the shingles over a new ice barrier. Since then I have had no more leaks, despite many heavy rains. I am very thankful for his careful work."
