"We visited their showroom and asked for prices on about 3 different hardwood floor products. They were very helpful in answering all of our questions.  <br /> After looking at the quotes for having the flooring installed, we decided to save some money by purchasing the products from them and doing the installation by ourselves.  It was a LOT of hard work!  We went back to Breegle with questions about 2 times & they were very courteous in answering all of our questions & offering suggestions for the parts of the job we had difficulties with.  We took much longer to install our floor than they would have taken.  We have been VERY HAPPY with the product we purchased from them, and pleased when we finished installing our new floor.  BUT, if we have another room done...we would have them install it.  <br /> Although we saved money by doing the install ourselves, it would be worthwhile to pay them to do the install next time! <br />"

"The wood was ordered, delivered and installed on schedule by Metro Flooring. The crew that installed the flooring were very polite and showed up on time. Very happy with the installation and the wood floor looks very nice in the House. Bill kept in contact through out the job. Very nice to be able to talk to the owner of the company considering how much this job cost."

"They came out the next morning and got right to work drying out the floors. Then they pulled up all the wood flooring and had it replaced. The carpet in my son's room was also replaced. They tested for mold and found none. The walls were repainted. We only spent money on a new hot water heater. I was pleased with the length of the job, their punctuality and professionalism and the end product. <br /> <br />"

"Omni arrived on time.  I walked through our house and showed the employee where there were problem areas, spots on the rug that would not come out with our home rug cleaner.  He was only there for about 30-45 minutes.  Spots were gone, and  the carpet looked great!  I wish I had done this years ago.  The whole house smelled better, too.  I would say I had an excellent experience with Omni.  They were easy to schedule with, too."

"Roger came to my home to provide an estimate. He arrived promptly. He was professional, very pleasant, and easy to talk to. I showed him the work I needed to have done. He measured the rooms for flooring. He spent time talking with me about some other issues I had with my house and offered some good ideas. I don't think he completely understood my vision for a change in the layout of the shower in the master bath but I would have revisited that topic with him prior to hiring him. I was concerned about a possible cat "accident" ruining new floors and Roger had a great idea to have the planks stained and sealed on site. This would help prevent moisture from getting in between the planks. Roger provided an estimate with moderate details. His estimate was about what I expected and in line with my budget. He called to follow up with me on the estimate. I wasn't home at the time and he left a message. I always appreciate it when a service provider checks back. It makes me feel like they want my business. I give him an A+ for doing that. I liked Roger. A minor health issue come up in my family and I decided to table the project for the time being. <br />"

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Chandler, OK

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
