"I contacted Sterling Appliance when another company (All American Appliance) told me they couldn't order the control board.  Sterling Appliance said they could order the part and we scheduled a time for the repair person to come to my house.  They called me a few days later to let me know the part came in early and so I was able to reschedule the repair for an earlier date.  The repair person was on time and professional.  He inspected the machine and said yes, it needed the new control board.  He then let me know what it would cost for the repair and asked if I wanted him to go ahead.  He installed the new board and everything works great.  He left my laundry room clean and there weren't any new scratches on top on the washer or dryer (see the All American Appliance "D" review I wrote).  When the work was complete, he said that it took less time than expected so the cost was even less than what he quoted originally.  I will call Sterling Appliance in the future.

The two technicians arrived on the day scheduled and within the timeframe provided and were safely wearing masks and social distancing in my home. The problem of the control panel not working was diagnosed as needing to be replaced and a follow-up appointment was scheduled after the part located and verified to be obtainable.
