"James Barlow of Jason H. Pope came to the house to look at a breaker/wiring problem around the pool pump. I went online late Wednesday afternoon, described the problem, and received a response from Pope Electrical. I sent them pictures (the breaker started smoking and did not trip). James arrived early Friday morning and figured out the problem pretty quickly. Aside from replacing the old breaker with a new one, he took the cover off the pump (which was working fine - 1 year old pump) and noticed the loose wiring as well as the pump not having a ground wire. Pump vibration had loosened the screw that held the wire down. The pump terminal block already had cracks in it, adding to the loose wire issue. James figured out the related issues, made parts replacements, and added the grounding wire. Took about an hour and a half as he troubleshooted everything in front of me. New breaker works fine and pump is back up and running. I'll buy a new pump terminal block and replace later. I'm very happy with James' work. The next time I have electrical issues to resolve, I'll just call Pope Electrical again and ask for James."

"Couldn't have asked for better service. Issue ID'd and fixed in about 45 seconds flat. Load/line wired wrong. After fixing, secured GFCI and two affected outlets, and then gave a quick block of instruction on the issue. OUTSTANDING! Then, on top of that, I had used a coupon for 2 hours labor for $149.00 so they called the office and got that cut just about in half to what I figure was simply a service call fee. Advised on a washing machine wiring hookup as well which I was able to do myself cuz it was pretty cut and dry. Their knowledge of residential electric and residential CODE was just what we needed. "I called about 10:00 AM to ask if the work could be done before Christmas (it's Dec. 18), and by 12:30 Greg was pulling up at my house. The work was done beautifully in a couple of hours. Greg was a consummate professional, wore booties whenever he was in the house, and cleaned up after the work was done. I will definitely call Streamline next time I need electrical work done. They also do plumbing and HVAC, though I didn't use those services today."
