"Richard was great to work with. He showed up on time the day he came to give us an estimate. And then he and his crew showed up right on time to do the work as scheduled. It was a laundry list of things to do - storm door replacement and repair, replacing a broken sash on a window, fixing a splintered door frame, planing doors that stuck, fixing doors that were loose, etc. It's an old house so standard things don't always fit and Richard figured it how to make it looks nice and fit without making it ridiculously expensive. We'll hire him again to do more work for us."

His proposals listed several boiler options, based on heating efficiency, which were competitively priced. The installation was run by Steve, who was able to fit in the installation the next week. Steve, and his crews, were punctual and courteous, and the installation went smoothly. I get that it was an urgent situation and I’m happy to pay reasonably for the response but that mark-up bothered me. I called the office, had a long talk with the owner; sadly, she offered no consideration at all. Yes, it’s hard to find and keep skilled techs, but now seems that most HVAC firms have a business model like a car dealer’s service dept, far more corporate, less flexible or customer-considerate."
