Serge even came out late to tarp the roof until it could get repaired so that I didnâ t have any further damage to the house waiting for the roof. They were very nice to work with. Great people. "Where do I even begin. Jordan ruined the whole process of creating our dream home. For starters, Jordan overpromises and never delivers and he is unresponsive. All of our frustrations can circle back to those issues. As a business owner that is a nail in your coffin. He shouldn’t be running his business. So for some specifics - Our project manager is a female and he would never reply to her until my husband followed up with him. He then started responding to her and I who were leading this renovation but always had an excuse and it was never his fault. His contract stated that install would be October 11th, fat chance, we were not even close. I forced his hand to get some things in the week of Christmas bc we had to move in, but still we don't have our master vanities done among other things. I made it clear we were having a Christmas party the Wednesday before and we had to cancel it and uninvite everyone because he didn’t deliver. In the contract, he indicates he is 20-25 weeks out, and “lucky us”, we get to slip in early bc another job cancelled. We are now almost at 27 weeks from when I signed that contract and he still has excuses why things aren’t finished. So enough with over promising and under delivering. Upon install, it was never him, he was off working other jobs and he put two staff members on, he never quality control checked their work. As soon as I gave him the bulk of his money he peaced out. He NEVER comes to our house even after I have repeatedly for a month requested an in person meeting. How do you promise your work and then never show up even after I am pointing out clear errors? Paint colors have been off, stains incorrect. No bumpers on our cabinet drawers have ever been put on. For a very nice house, and the kitchen being a focal area, I am gutted we choose him, because his work dims down everything else. I showed him what I wanted for a hood and for a vanity very clearly with a picture from pintrest. He clearly stated he can 100% do it. Not a chance. We are going to have to get a brass guy separate from him to fix his work because after two tries on making our hood the way we want, he is still soo incredibly far off. Who knows what the vanity will look like because we still don’t have it installed. He keeps blaming the metal people, but never speaks to the fact that he didn’t get the cabinets to said metal people until after Christmas which was after when it was meant to be installed. I am still waiting for him to show up to my house in person. After refusing for weeks, he gave us a date this week and now saying he can’t make that work. Both my husband and I work and have kids and are attempting to be flexible for him to no avail. If I could give him any grace it would be the fact that our world has serious supply chain issues and he wasn’t our only sub to miss the mark. The difference is transparency, communication, willingness to own up to ones mistakes, delays and errors. Supply chain was never his issue, it was overpromising and not communicating. I would NEVER recommend anyone using Cabinets Trim and More. My father was a developer, I have an understanding of how this business works and between my husband an I, we have built and renovated 5 houses and he is the worst subcontractor we have ever used!"
