"Fantastic Craftwork!!! They converted my cheery wood shaker style TV armoire into storage/linen cabinet. I highly recommend them and it was at an affordable price. Plus they picked up and delivered. I am so pleased that I didn't have to get rid of the cabinet and can use it for another use. You don't get this kind of quality craftsmanship now days. A good tradesman is worth their weight in gold. Highly recommend."

"We recently completed our third successful renovation project with NV. As usual they completed the work to our exact specifications, on time and on budget. We have now used this company to renovate our kitchen, all our bathrooms, and most recently reface our fireplace and install custom built-in bookshelves. The one time we used a different company on a separate project - a basement renovation we wanted to get going on in a time slot that NV was booked - we quickly regretted it because we didn't experience the same level of reliability, honesty about how long things would take, and clockwork organization of different trade teams. We love working with NV because they are very customer focused, responsive, easy to communicate with, start and finish when they say they will, and have a high level of workmanship."

"I had used John Chamoun previously, and he was the go to person for custom bookcases and a window seat at my new home purchase. While Regency is pricey, it's truly value received. The quality of workmanship is outstanding; as were the installation services -- which required on-site modifications to accommodate some quirks in the home's construction. Regency Custom Cabinet is top-notch, and I'd use them again in a heartbeat."

"Alexander gave me my dream kitchen!!! I had heard horror stories about contractors before we started remodeling but working with Alexander was not only a great experience, but we could not be happier with the results! He was extremely responsive from day 1 til the last day and always picks up his phone no matter when you call him. From our first meeting, he worked with OUR budget and tried to find us ways to save money, even suggesting that we re-use our current granite! I insisted on getting new granite and of course he was happy to help us with that, sending us to a great slab yard where we picked out the perfect piece of granite. The cabinets he recommended are real wood and excellent quality (soft close drawers and everything!) and ended up costing less than what another contractor was charging us for IKEA cabinets! Not to mention that Alexander did all the design work for us and all we had to was tweak based on our preferences. He was very flexible throughout the process and let us pick out the hardware and accessories and changed the kitchen design so I could have my farmhouse apron sink! He also worked within our very tight deadline and was more worried about keeping on schedule (and about protecting our new hardwood!) than we were. :) He is a great contractor to work with and truly cares about his customers and the end results. We are extremely pleased!!!"

"Excellent - Carlos is responsive, experienced, and provides great customer service. He was also flexible when needed. Would be happy to hire again and have done so. My kitchen is beautiful!"

"Overall, our countertops look great.  We love the color and Granite Works was very responsive, nice, didn't pressure us, and provided good advice.  We were able to schedule them with no problem also.
A few minor things would make it nice if Angie's List provided the ability to rate them an A- instead of an unqualified A: they were supposed to do all of the sealing before they arrived as we have family members with allergies to chemical smells, but that didn't get communicated from the person who measured the granite to the installers, so the granite was not sealed the final time (not a big deal as it was already sealed once or twice before arrival).  While installing, the island countertop looked a little off, so I measured and it was, so they fixed it, but if I hadn't pointed it out, they would have missed it (they should have measured themselves).  Also, the piece was delivered with a scratch the length of the edge on the breakfast bar side of the stone.  Once we noticed it they came back promptly, ground it out, and repolished.  You can't tell it was there anymore.
All of this said, in the end we got exactly what we wanted for a great price.  Our countertops look great.  We would go back for a future job.

"KBR Kitchen & Bath did a wonderful job with my bathroom remodel. The work was done in a professional and timely manner. The finished product looks amazing and Cemil was great to work with. I would definitely use them again in the future and recommend KBR without hesitation."

"I was combining bright white cabinets on the perimeter of my kitchen with a walnut peninsula.  That required either getting a single granite that would work with both or two granites that would work with the different woods and each other.  I had searched on my own a couple of times and was leaning toward a particular granite.   Nick was able to talk me out of a bad decision.  He then very patiently evaluated dozens of granites with me, pointing out potential problems with some, narrowing down to others.  His expertise with stone helped me to choose beautiful slabs that work perfectly in my kitchen.  I then purchased the slabs and they were delivered to his shop.
His process (customer buys slab, Nick's crew fabricates the countertop) yields left-over stone in his shop.  From this, he chose a perfect stone for my laundry room.  He measured, then his crew installed a week later.
For the kitchen, he was able to install less than a week after measuring.  That is amazingly fast turnaround for granite fabrication.  The granites were fabricated perfectly and look gorgeous.  Very professional crew.
Overall, it was a terrific experience.  Stonework is as much art as craft.  Nick has great taste and is willing to share that with his customers to help them make great choices.

"Interviewed several local to Old Town remodeling companies. They were by far the best value for my project. The in-house interior design team helped me pick out all materials. Matt Galassi was the project manager and facilitated the designs to perfection. I've recommended them to numerous other condo owners in the building."

"Wonderfully! From the owner, the designers, the craftsmen and everyone involved, we were treated courteously and respectfully. They came when they said they would, were easy to be around and cleaned up every day."
