"Shlomo and his team did a fantastic job. The moment Shlomo entered our house we knew we had hired a reliable professional. He designed a cabinet that offered more space than those of others suppliers and make use of all space available. He had to remove the marble countertop to install the cabinets and reinstalled thereafter. The cabinets are of high quality and blend in perfectly with the rest of our kitchen. "Heartwood was recommended by Reico Kitchen and Bath in Springfield, VA, my cabinet supplier. I'd originally considered engineered quartz but when three styles I chose turned out to be backordered I took a fresh look at the Corian offerings and chose a Private Collection style in Clamshell. The material is one and a half inches thick with the plywood backing so it replicates the solid look of stone countertops, even around the sink, where Heartwood also built it up. I have gotten so many compliments on it, especially from people who don't realize there are alternatives to granite. "I contracted Jed Dinger Design to build a media wall cabinet for my flat screen tv and components. It was a unique design that I couldn't find online or in the store. I wanted a particular wood, stain and size. Additionally, I wanted it to operate in a certain way. Jed took all my ideas and built a beautiful and solid cabinet that operates just as I wanted if not better. Furthermore, it was easy to work with him. Generally, we communicated via phone and email. I provided him photos and the necessary measurements. He kept me updated on the progress of the cabinet by sending me pictures. I went to his shop to bring certain items that he needed. He came to the house to do the install. I definitely would hire him again."

We discussed my needs in detail and arrived at an agreeable design configuration for the pantry and kitchen cabinet.  Materials were chosen and I had to put down a 50% deposit.  On May 17, 2013 the installer, John, took measurements.  On June 30, 2013 the shelving was installed.  John showed up on time.  He worked quickly and efficiently, and was very pleasant to talk to. The balance due was paid in full following the installation."

"We hired The Model Home Look for a complete kitchen remodel, including making a larger window, and installing new floors throughout the main floor. Mike and his team really made my design come to life and my husband and I love our new kitchen. Cooking and entertaining in it is a dream! The 3D layout Mike does is a great way to picture the specific layout and work out some of the specifics you never would have thought about. Mike offered unique suggestions to help us get more cabinet space without sacrificing floor space, such as insetting cabinets into the wall. We had several companies provide quotes for the work and proposed remodel layouts. The Model Home Look was not the cheapest, but was also far from the most expensive. My husband and I have had several remodeling projects completed in our homes over the years. Unfortunately, it never seems as though a project can be completed without some hiccup. When our kitchen cabinets came in the wrong color, Mike and his cabinet maker responded immediately to take the cabinets back and make the correction. Unfortunately, this meant that the project took much longer than expected. If this issue hadn't cropped up it is likely the work would have been done early. The cabinets really are of amazing quality with soft closes even on the doors which we did not expect. When the new plumbing for the sink/dishwasher sprung a leak, Mike and his guys responded immediately and remedied the situation. Mike was readily accessible via phone, email or text throughout the whole project. Mike had great suggestions for places to look for fixtures and countertops, but was able and willing to work with other vendors we found if necessary. In the end, the kitchen is beautiful and we're so happy with how it turned out! We got great quality for the price."

"Outstanding customer service from beginning to end. Prior to starting work met with us both at their store and at our home and then they prepared detailed plans and provided estimate for work to be performed. All work was completed on time and within budget. Paul and Dominic provided onsite oversight and management of the various crews that performed the work. They carefully removed old cabinets so that we could reuse in garage and basement for additional storage. Started with installation of cabinets and island, then installed granite counters/island, and then ceramic flooring. Electrician also installed undercounter lights and outlets. Due to appliance vendors backlog for downdraft granite installer needed to return to cut space for cooktop and downdraft. This phase was done perfectly allowing the appliance vendor to install the blower and induction cooktop. Paul coordinated all work and was very responsive. Always returned my phone calls with 1--2 hours. Both Paul and Dominic closely monitored work performed. GREAT JOB! Highly recommend.
