"Fredy and Andrea at Global Roofing combine to provide excellent customer service with high quality installation. From quote to complete the entire process was smooth. We were looking at metal roofing first and learned quickly that these folks know a lot about the options, potential issues and installation. Ultimately we went with CertainTeed asphalt shingles due to supply chain price increases for metal, a limited color selection, and because I tend to walk on my roof for a few reasons. On the 1st scheduled day the crew arrived on time and ready to work. They hung tarps and netting to collect all debris and protect shrubs , etc. They moved fast and efficiently with a big enough crew to clear old shingles and start installing new by mid-afternoon. At the end of the day they cleaned everything up, and I do mean everything. By end of day two they were done, once again cleaning everything before leaving. We were very impressed with Global and definitely recommend them for your roofing project."

"I cannot speak highly enough of Tom and Brad Green of Colonial Restorations. We have lived in our antique house for 16 years now, and like most old homes, some of its previous repairs were good, some not so good. Tom Green worked on this house for its previous owners, and his work was, by far, the best in the house. So, we continued to use Colonial - Tom, then Tom and Brad - as we learned the ropes about caring for an old house - our first house, old or new. Over the years, they have replaced sills and posts and beams, and rebuilt parts of our loose stone foundation. Most recently, they replaced the last original posts in our basement, (one of which was a tree trunk still with bark on it), including pouring new custom footings, in advance of our finally cementing the dirt floor. The work here is never easy - nothing is level, nothing is square - but the Greens' end result has always been beautiful - strong and made to last. Their prices are fair and without hidden costs....maybe not the lowest bid you might get, but you know it's a real bid that they will stand behind. They triage projects for us, giving us an idea of what other items will likely need attention in the next few years. We're not done with this house yet....we've never won the lottery, and there's always another repair..... and plan to use them again soon. I feel confident knowing that the next owners of this house, whoever they might be, will see the quality of the work and know that we cared enough to have the right people help us with the ongoing repair and maintenance of a 275+ year old house. I am a real person, a real customer, with no ties to the company, and was more than happy to write this review."

"Great job. I thought I needed to replace my deck--the wood looked moldy and pitted. But, after Nathan finished, it looked fantastic. A coat of stain should be all I need now. Before washing the roof, Nathan took photos of it and alerted me to potential issues I might see in a few years--he's not selling roofing replacement so this was strictly a friendly heads up. I hired A1 because they perform low power roof washing, which avoids any potential damage to the tiles. I would recommend A1 without any hesitation."

"I had water leaking into my living room Saturday night. I called Howard Sunday. He came by my house on Monday to access the situation. Him and his crew came to my house on Tuesday at 7:05 AM and didn't stop working until 4:30 PM. Wednesday it was rainy and windy. NO WATER LEAKING in my living room. Howard and his crew did a great job. They were very professional. They didn't leave a mess for me to clean up as was the case with my last roofing contractor. I gave Howard's contact information to two of my closest friends that need roof repair."

"We hired Rick two years ago and were very happy so we naturally called him again. This time we needed the outside of the house stained.   Rick wasn?t familiar with redwood so he researched to find the best products and how to apply them. The house is beautiful.
Then we asked Rick to fix the significant damage caused by ice dams last winter. Most of the ceilings needed to be repaired and painted. One bedroom only needed minor repair. Two other bedrooms and the kitchen needed repainting. We also asked Rick to make some repairs, for example, removing unneeded telephone jacks and fixing a missing piece of molding. Our kitchen has features that are hard to paint: two arches and a skylight in the ceiling and a railing with spindles. Everything was done perfectly.
Rick does fantastic work.   He cared about our home as if it were his own. On his own he touched up the rooms he did two years ago.  He paid super attention to detail and made sure that everything was done to his standards and ours.  He spent the time needed to make sure things were done right.  He also made sure things were kept clean along the way and at the end.   Rick even gave us advice when we asked for it and came up with some great ideas that we applied and were very happy with.  The cost was exactly what he told us it would be and the work was done when he said it would be done.
Rick is a very good painter, totally reliable and trustworthy (we gave him a key and we went on vacation). We very highly recommend Rick and. in fact,  will have him do more work for us in the future.

"Excellent! Jay installed an Anderson slider into the sun room from the kitchen. He matched the wood on the door to the cherry kitchen cabinets. Did a fantastic job. He also replaced the back door to the deck. Again a fantastic job!"

"The company that cleaned my gutters told me that the fascia board on one side of the house was rotted and needed to be replaced. So, I sought several estimates, including from Mass Gutters and Roofing, which had been recommended on a neighborhood social network website. Instead of picking the cheapest company (heeding the well-known admonition - you get what you pay for), I decided to go with Mass Gutters. When Mark Richardson came to see the house, he pointed out several other issues, including the need to add a gutter in the front of the house over the porch, and the bowing of the wood across the bottom of the porch railing from a lack of support. Based on my conversation with Mark, including his observations, explanations, and suggestions, I felt confident that any work he did would be of excellent quality. I was NOT disappointed! Not only was the fascia board replaced, but the cause of the rotting was determined and eliminated by extending the metal that was too short for adequate protection of the wood. And, in addition to all the work we had discussed, Mark provided a solution to a years-long problem with birds nesting under the roof of the front porch. Metal sheets were installed to prevent them from ever returning. (I look forward to the birds returning next spring, only to discover that they have been permanently evicted!) When the job was completed, Mark checked to be sure that I was happy with the work (I definitely was!) and told me to call him with any questions or problems. Based on my experience, I would unequivocally recommend this business. Mark’s vast construction knowledge, his attention to detail, and focus on customer satisfaction, along with his highly skilled workers, result in quality work for the homeowner."
