He renovated the bathroom with new tiles, replacing bathroom rotten wood frame window with a vinyl frame, installing new light fixtures and repairing bathroom plumbing, repairing torn screens, as well as repainting interior walls and trim throughout the unit and installing new shades throughout. He also plastered water-damaged ceilings and cleaned and organized the basement storage area. On the exterior he replaced a rotted window frame and missing clapboards, then patched and painted the wall. Bob arrived early each day and worked diligently. "Started the job. Got money to start and wouldn't come for months. Gave picture of bathroom tile and how it was to be laid. Didn't pick up at all like it was to be laid. He didn't remove a pipe from the roof, so water leaked in, soaked the insulation and left a water stain on the ceiling. I would never recommend him to anybody. I really trusted the guy. A true rip off."

"After contacting them, Gerry came out to look at everything and provide an estimate.  We had cedar shakes with old, peeling, (probably lead) paint, and he was able to answer all our newbie questions about what paint he preferred, how long it lasts, how the heck are we going to pick colors, and so on.  His estimate was in line with others we had received, on the lower end.  We liked that he was able to handle a variety of contracting work beyond painting, so if anything came up it would be easy to deal with.
When it came time to do the work, Gerry, his son, and team were very speedy.  The whole house took about four days, much of it on the porch because that's where all the old mulitpane windows are.  They did a great job capturing and disposing all the old scraped paint.  After we started to see things come together we had a few minor changes in where we wanted to swap trim colors, and they were able to accommodate and work with us.  On the outside of the porch there were some areas with irregularly chipped paint that looked kind of weird, which they heat-gunned off before painting and now look great.  The only snag is that having protective canvas down on some plants for a week damaged a few of them (not that they were particularly nice in the first place).  Next time I would have a conversation beforehand about what parts of the yard are ok to cover up for more than a day or so.
Everything looks great and we've gotten many compliments from neighbors - we're very happy with the new look!

"Service and work was exceptionally done. The owner called me within a day of receiving my voicemail message. He came by the next day to look at the job and gave me a quote on the spot. I needed the work done very quickly, and he fit me in within two days of seeing the job. The ceiling was badly stained from a central air conditioning unit that had flooded. It was dried out but a mess. The team put on three coats of oil-based sealer paint, and two coats of ceiling paint. In another room, the walls were damaged with holes and marks. They repaired the walls, matched the paint color and completed the job. They were on time, completed the entire job in 5 hours, and cleaned up beautifully. They were highly professional. I would hire them again in a heartbeat."
