"The individual that did the consult was very knowledgeable and helpful. The work took 8 days. I would highly recommend just buying new cabinets. The mess after the sanding and install was more than I expected. Some of the cabinets were left with debris and a considerable amount of dust in them, the shelves were not sanded on the ends where they were cut, leaving splinters and the sawdust was in the stove, dishwasher, cabinets that were covered and in the adjoining room. The craftsmanship turned out nice but noticeable that the edges were resurfaced. Itâ s hard to resurface cabinets that are old. The new doors cover the refacing. I feel the pricing is way to high for this type of project."

"The estimator was very knowledgeable and explained his products and services very well.  He provided a detailed plan and estimate.
The installation was done all in one day - including removal of the old counter top and the installation of the new counter top - and it was done on the pre-scheduled day.  Sears was excellent at accommodating our scheduling restrictions.  The new counter top looks nice and we are very happy with the result.
There were a few glitches - the garbage disposal leaked and needed service, and it was tough to get an updated estimate when we made a mid-stream change - but we were still very happy with the result.
Note that the Sears office that we dealt with is in Sharon Hill PA, not in Windsor Mill MA as listed by Angie's List, and the corporate headquarters is in Longwood FL.

My cabinets had loosened from the wall and dropped about an inch, causing misalignment of the double doors on each unit. When I posted my cabinet repair needs on Angi on one evening, he responded to me immediately on the next morning. He set up a time for service on a Saturday afternoon, and was at my house when he said he would be. He figured out the problem with my cabinets quickly. The quote for his service was very reasonable, much lower than I expected, and he quickly and professionally completed my repair needs. He’s a nice guy. "It is very hard to get someone who is competent and willing to make relatively minor repairs. Mr Deering fit the bill. I had a sunroom storm door that was sticking and the door frame was no longer square. This alignment problem caused the door lock and latch to fail. The larger problem was that the people who had constructed the sunroom had not properly attached the framing for the sunroom to the existing house. Happy Home Repairs firmly reattached the sunroom to the house and was able to install a new door latch onto the existing door that had nonstandard latch cutouts ."
