"Marty, the technician, pulled out our oven and stovetop so a technician from another company could do some work behind the oven and stovetop. Marty returned two days later and put our oven and stovetop back to its original position. Marty did an excellent job on both days. He worked quickly and arrived on time each day. I would highly recommend using him."

"Take away: record then while they are in your house, you'll want the evidence when you have to prove they lied. 1. They tried to convince me that my fridge had a water "reservoir" that would take more than 8 hours to fill up. That's a lie - expect them to lie to you as much as they want. 2. The father who owns the business sent his son to my job. His son send to know very little about appliance repair so if you get the younger mid 20s - 30s guy showing up to your job, he will do a terrible job. The father had to come back to fix his son's mistake. 3. They "fixed" my fridge, which never really was fixed and went back to it's original problem within a month. When I called my warranty company to send them back out the son came. He said it seemed like the heater or thermostat wasn't working properly. 4. Then I got a call from my warranty company saying that arcnet had told them everything was fine with the fridge and no repairs were needed. Complete lies. Now arcnet dodges my calls because they know they were wrong."

"I have used them in the past but never again. I had an issue with a dishwasher and after many weeks of delay they finally told me that I had to order the circulator pump for a Miele dishwasher from the warehouse. How does the customer know what model to order? I had paid for the visit but I immediatley went on line and found a Miele approved repair company. They determined that I did not need an expensive part and labor and fixed it on the spot. Do not use this business."

"Let me say at the outset that I would definitely call on Presidential Appliance Repair again if I have any other appliance issues (hopefully not). I found the company professional with top notch customer service and most importantly, they resolved my issue so quality looks to be top notch as well. The ice maker dispenser was not working so I looked up a few reviews and Presidential had some very good reviews so I took a chance. Happy to say all the other reviews were spot on. Priscilla from the mgmt office texted or called me w/in an hour of my original inquiry. She was able to secure a date that worked for me and something no one has ever asked me to do before is, she asked me to send her the model number of the refrigerator. She wanted to be sure the Technician/perhaps owner Tim, had the parts in hand so the repair could be completed right away. Really appreciated this level of efficiency. Tim came right on time, was very professional, conducted a thorough review and was able to diagnose the issue relatively quickly. Unfortunately what I thought/identified as the issue was different from the actual issue so he did need to order a part after all but it came in quickly - w/in a couple of days and the ice dispenser is working great again. As for fee structure, as of May 2021, they charge approx $90 for an initial assessment visit and once they diagnose the issue, there is a tiered service fee structure (and of course parts). I had a solenoid replaced and I believe the entire fee - initial visit, repair and parts was a little less than $250. Really pleased to have found this company and as mentioned, have added them to my roster of reliable companies. They are very responsive and most importantly, I believe they are trustworthy."

"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

"Paul, the owner of Master Appliance Service, has been repairing appliances for thirty years. I hired him because of his high Angie's List and Washington Consumer Checkbook rating and was not disappointed. I also avoided the Whirlpool contract repair company that doesn't appear on Angies List but was one of the worst companies rated by Checkbook. He carefully assessed potential causes of the oven problem we were having and figured out we needed to replace a control board. Having done the diagnosis in the morning, he secured the part from the distributor and returned in the afternoon to do the install. Terrific service provided by a personable service provider. Glad to have him to turn to in the event of other major appliance problems."
