They did a great job communicating timeline, expectations, and options up front, and then executed the job really well.  Steven and his team were all helpful and easy to work with. "Devin was recommended to us by friends. Their remodel looked great and they said he had finished on time and on budget. To skip to the end he did the same for us. We liked Devin from the start, he has a very easy-going demeanor. He recommended a architectural designer (Steve Backus) when our first one didn't work out. Devin worked well with both of them. He really thought about how he would build what they were designing, so that once the plans were ready it all went smoothly. From ground breaking to delivery took less than the 6 months Devin promised. That's a fast pace so be prepared to make a lot of decisions in a short amount of time. We moved out so that Devin could have the run of the house and that was definitely the right decision for us. It let him go faster, and having our kids live in a destruction/construction zone would not have been good. We are thrilled with the result. Devin has an eye for the finishing details that make it all look top notch. Devin was attentive to the punch list and to the few issues that have come up since. We highly recommend him."

"The work was originally scheduled for Friday; however, Mr. Vazquez texted me early that morning to let me know that he would not be arriving at 8:00 as scheduled due to the rain. He said he could come later that day or Monday or Tuesday of the next week. I return texted that later Friday or Monday would work for me. When he didn't show up on Friday, I assumed he'd come on Monday but I wasn't 100% sure. Of course, I could have followed up myself. However, no worries. Rigo showed up early Monday and got right to work. I am very pleased with his skills, work ethic, and sharp eye to go above and beyond. He started inside on the kitchen ceiling but moved back and forth between the inside work and outside work. Letting the ceiling applications dry, while he worked outside. Efficient! Rigo also noticed my (ahem) less than professional spackling work in the kitchen over some screws and chips in the wall. He went ahead and fixed those up too. So much nicer! Rigo also pointed out that the garage wood had rotted because no flashing had been installed at the top. He ASKED if I wanted him to add that and asked if I wanted wood or that wood-alike that doesn't rot. Seems like small potatoes but I've certainly had others who did work and did not give me any info or options. Much appreciated. After he'd completed the outside work, Rigo borrowed a broom to sweep up. The kitchen was also quite clean. Obviously, I still need to do a good sweep, but it is much cleaner than I'd anticipated.
All in all, a job well done. Add in the Angie's List discount and I even give them an A on pricing.  This is the 4th or 5th company I contacted to fix the garage trim and the first who showed up. I thought I was jinxed. I've begun my list for spring - interior cracks in the stairwell and the trim around the basement windows. I will be hiring Vazquez and Son again.

Nick, their employee, accompanied us during our purchase of items we wanted installed in each bathroom. This degree of personal involvement exceeded all my expatiations. The work and professionalism by Nick cannot be duplicated. He addressed the project as if our home was his. All issues Nick discovered during the project were quickly corrected to assure the finished project would meet and truthfully exceed our expatiations.
