The date proposed was mid October but the actual work was much sooner (low slope roof) and completed in several hours The roof has now gone through several seasons without issue. "We had Power do our Roof and Gutters on our 120 year old home. This is our first big project on our new house and Power made the experience great. Their were a couple of hiccups but Power was able to rectify the situations. The project was supposed to be a 2 day project, but when taking the old shingles off they noticed the roof decking needed to be repaired because of significant wood rot. They finished the total project in 4 days. Power met every expectation. One part of the process that was a little frustrating was that I didn’t have one point person to talk to if I had questions. I had multiple project managers but I did get all my questions answered when I called. We would definitely recommend them to anyone."

"We just had our roof replaced by Global Roofing. It was amazing to work with Andrea and Freddy. We couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience! We got several quotes for our roofing job, changed our mind about the material along the way (went from metal to asphalt), and Andrea and Freddy were great throughout the process. Global Roofing had the best recommendations (one of the reasons we chose them), and after working with them we know why! Communication was amazing, if there were any delays due to ordering supplies like the skylights we were immediately informed, and the final scheduling for the project was also easy. I was at work all day while they were actually doing the roof, and other than the new beautiful roof on my house I was not able to tell that any contractors were at my house all!!! "Colonial Restorations was superb.   Our family very much enjoyed working with Brad Green and Tom Green.  

At the outset, they made thorough assessments of our family's barn, identifying several problem areas and offering multiple proposals for how best to address each (including strategies and estimates).  They walked through the different proposals with us, addressing all questions and discussing different options.  This was extremely constructive and important to the process. 

They demonstrated very clear understanding of post-and-beam wood construction.  They displayed great expertise in working with wood (white oak, red oak, hemlock) and with the tools, jacks and cribbing needed for this work.  They worked carefully, always putting in place the necessary jacks and cribbing in advance of each phase of this project.

They were clear about their schedule and were very responsible about communicating with us.  If there were a day that they would not be on site, they let us know ahead of time.  With the exception of a snow storm and an illness, they were on site five days a week from the first week in January till the second week in February, 2016.  

By the completion of this project, Colonial Restorations had made significant and important structural repairs to our barn.  This work was done with care, craft, accuracy, and to code.  (All elements of this project were examined and passed by the building inspector.)  Most important, these repairs respected and worked with the existing structure and materials of the barn.

We could not be happier with these repairs or with the work done by Colonial Restorations.  It was a pleasure working with Brad and Tom."

"Great job. I thought I needed to replace my deck--the wood looked moldy and pitted. But, after Nathan finished, it looked fantastic. A coat of stain should be all I need now. Before washing the roof, Nathan took photos of it and alerted me to potential issues I might see in a few years--he's not selling roofing replacement so this was strictly a friendly heads up. I hired A1 because they perform low power roof washing, which avoids any potential damage to the tiles. I would recommend A1 without any hesitation."

"I own some rental property that I don't live in and I contacted Rich to come out because the roof on a small addition was leaking. He came out pretty quickly, I did not have to be present which is always nice because it's difficult for me to get out there during the week. The day after Rich came out I had the quote for the roof replacement in my email. The cost was on the lower side of three quotes I had for the job. I contacted Rich to tell him I liked the proposal and to schedule the job, they came out a week and a half later and replaced the roof. It looks good and no longer leaks! One of the reason's I was so impressed with this company is that when I received the proposal to repair the roof it noted that some of the plywood was rotted and may need to be replaced,it gave a price to have all the roof decking done. When the crew was at the property they did find that several of the plywood sheets needed to be replaced. The crew took the time to photograph the rotted wood so that I knew and could see they were damage and they weren't trying to inflate the price. That kind of attention to detail is why I recommend this company and will use them again."

"I contacted Hector's office in search of a quality service provider to powerwash the exterior of our house. Upon calling, Madeline in the office picked up and informed me that it would be best for Hector to come out and see the work to provide an accurate estimate and that she would follow up later that day to schedule. Just hours later that same day, Madeline informed me that Hector was in the area and I happened to be home! Hector and one of his team members walked the perimeter of the house with me indicating what areas he felt needed attention while being upfront about other areas that looked ok. We agreed on a price that was very fair compared to other estimates I received. Before leaving, I mentioned to Hector that I had a stone patio and firepit in the woods behind our home that could use a washing. Hector again quoted a very reasonable price and said he would have no problem getting all the way back there (nearly 100 yds from house). I read in other reviews that Hector did light exterior paint work and before letting him leave I had him quote a refresh of some of our exterior trim work. Again, Hector was reasonable and fair with pricing for this work. After continuing to add to the job, I added complexity by saying I needed the work done before my son's bday party which was the following weekend. Hector was able to come back the very next day to complete the work! In the end, Hector and his team completed a wash of the entire exterior of the house, parts of the roof that were shaded and had some moss/mold, washing the woodland firepit/patio and painting some of the exterior trim that needed it. The price was right and the house looks amazing. Communication with him and his team was seamless throughout and it helps that the entire team is so friendly, pleasant and honest. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing help with Power/Pressure Washing, Exterior Painting and/or gutter cleaning!!"

"Our 120 year old house had been neglected. The front farmers’ porch was nearly black with mold. So the power washing took many hours. A lot of the wood was rotted so that needed to be prepped and patched and some boards replaced. Again, hours and hours of labor. I hired Rick because of his reviews on Angie’s List and he certainly lived up to his reputation. He and his nephew are very personable, and clearly know their stuff. Meticulous attention to detail, and perfectionism. He also painted our bulkhead and 2 doors, which I wasn’t expecting. The house looks beautiful and I know it was done right and with the best products available."
