"They came in with their team and went right to work. Only a portion of the basement needed to be waterproofed. They drilled out a 10-inch wide portion of the concrete floor, put stones, pipe, more stones and re-concreted that portion of the floor. Painted that wall with waterproof paint leaving me the rest of the painting to do (my choice). Drilled a hole at the bottom of each cinderblock which drained into a grey baseboard material which then drained into the pipe and flowed into the sump pump. Replaced the old basement window and placed concrete around it. Installed a sump pump, placed the pipe through the wall, placing the water exit pipe into a flower bed. Adding a circuit breaker dedicated to the sump pump. They described everything they were going to do prior to the job and everything they did at the completion of the job. Also, explaining how the sump pump worked. The total cost was $4200.00. The best part they cleaned up after. Oh and before they did anything they placed plastic all around so as not to ruin anything in the basement. I did not have to lift a finger."

"As a homeowner, realizing you need basement waterproofing, mold remediation, potential foundation repairs, an additional sub pump AND a method to block moisture can be incredibly overwhelming, specifically finding a qualified trustworthy waterproofing and remediation company near me, thankfully I was connected with Basement Gurus. Living in the Philadelphia, New Jersey and Delaware area there were countless companies available, though shortly after putting in a request, the installation manager promptly contacted me and continued to make herself very accessible throughout the entire project. Her effective communication and patience guided me through the entire installation process and follow up. When faced with a wet basement, it is essential to choose a company which is knowledgeable, skilled, and thorough, Basement Gurus exemplified all of these qualities. There crew arrived on time each day and tirelessly worked until EVERYTHING was done to their quality standard, this hard work while putting in the time and effort is rarely found these days, I am glad Basement Gurus hires waterproofing specialists and contractors who clearly take great pride in a well-done job. They were respectful to me and my family, were meticulous throughout, and incredibly open to answers any questions I had. The boss took time to meet with me to discuss any and all concerns that I had. This demonstration of professionalism and responsiveness showed that their priority is to provide stellar service to their customers and ensure quality work in order to resolve any issues with moisture, mold, installation of drainage systems and countless other services. Overall, Basement Gurus demonstrated expertise in basement waterproofing; utilizing the best approaches, most up to date systems and equipment , punctuality and overall work quality."

"I was having some issues with water coming into the basement through the foundation and walls during rainy weather. Not flooding, or even shop vac-able volumes, just enough to be annoying and require mopping. Dominic and his crew were here today to install an under-floor drainage system and a new sump pump. I was dreading the demo (I have a concrete floor) and the mess involved, but these guys came prepared for everything! They used dust abatement measures to protect all my basement-stored items, and they removed and hauled all the debris away when finished with the excavation. What really impressed me was the concrete restoration upon completion. I've previously had a sewer line replaced through the basement floor, and the contractor really "botched" the floor repair. I can't describe how different this experience was! The concrete installed today is immaculate! Dominic takes pride in his work and with good reason! The new concrete is perfect! I am thrilled! "

"This work took place in my parents' basement, which is filled with decades' worth of stuff. We'd always had water in the basement after heavy rains. Sometimes it was just a matter of a damp floor or a puddle in one corner, but other times there was so much standing water that they could fill and empty a large Shop Vac more than once. After years of my parents coping with the water themselves, we are preparing to sell the home, and we knew that buyers might be scared away by a damp/wet basement. So I researched local basement waterproofing companies on Angie's List, and after obtaining two quotes from highly regarded companies, we decided to hire AJ.

On the appointed day, AJ and crew arrived on time and immediately got to work moving items away from the walls. They wrapped the items in the center and the stairway leading up to the main floor of the house to prevent dust intrusion. They temporarily installed fans to blow out dust while using the jackhammer.

They chiseled out a trench, neatly channeled around two water tanks next to the wall, hauled out the broken concrete, and drilled holes in the cinderblock foundation for the water to drain into the trench. They set the perforated PVC drain pipe and backfilled with crushed stone, installed a membrane on the wall to direct any other water into the trench, installed a sump pump, and installed plumbing to discharge water to the outside of the home. All of this took several hours. I didn't watch every step of the process, but they called me downstairs to show me their progress after having sprayed down the walls with an antimicrobial substance. At that point they were in the process of backfilling over the crushed stone bed with concrete. The concrete work was neatly done and the crew cleaned up all the plastic sheeting they had used.

It seemed to me that the crew worked efficiently together. There didn't seem to be any lag time because there were always multiple tasks being completed at the same time. I think that's how the entire job could be completed in one day. It's a relief to finally have this problem addressed and I feel confident that this basement will not have water intrusion problems anymore. "

"They came out & explained how they were going to resolve the drainage issue from our basement & lawn. We were surprised at the depth of work they had done to ensure that this issue was resolved for the new owners. They did as they said they would do per the estimate. These guys worked so hard & got rained on a good bit of the day, yet that didn't stop them from completing the job. They went above & beyond. It has been over a month now & we are very pleased to see no drainage issues. Thanks Waterproofing One for coming to our rescue! Dave & Lisa"

"This company did a first class job solving a basement foundation water infiltration problem in our commercial office building in Upper Bucks County, PA. A project manager came out to assess our situation; he came up with a proposed solution on the spot, provided us with a written proposal and sample photos of other similar work they had done. The work required excavating a small portion of the foundation on the exterior and filling a crack in the foundation wall down to the footers. The crew came out as scheduled and completed the job in a single day as predicted. Some follow up tweaks were needed, and I'm happy to say that the customer service team and follow up crew responded promptly and made some necessary adjustments to button up the job as promised. This is a first class operation and I do not hesitate to recommend this outfit to other colleagues and property owners needing this service."

"We contacted Joe in May regarding a patio that we wanted installed as well as drainage problems we have in our yard (the low point of our property was right near the foundation in the corner of the house). He quickly responded and set up a meeting to discuss our problems and look at the yard. When he came for the estimate he answered all of our questions and described in detail what work would be done. We found the price to be comparable or cheaper than other estimates we received. Due to his workload and the very wet spring they were unable to complete the work until the end of July, but he was very upfront about that at our first meeting. When the work began his team was fast, complete, clean, and unobtrusive. They completed the job to satisfaction within 5 business days and Joe made sure he came after a week or two to ensure everything was ok. We would definitely hire them for future work."
