"We remodeled most of our house this past year since we were working from home and it was long overdue. We had a few decent contractors(and a few not so decent) but the best by far was Hardscapes LLC. Our backyard has a steep hill and the rain has eroded the hill over the years to the point of seeing a lot of tree roots. We also only had about 8 feet of usable yard past the patio that was pea gravel. Hardscapes came in and put a retaining wall that gave us 30 feet of usable yard and a concrete patio. The 5-6 man crew really took their time to make sure everything was done right. They made a mess out of the driveway and street as expected with multiple truckloads of dirt and gravel…but not only did they hose the driveway down, but all 5 guys took 2-3 hours to scrape the compacted dirt from the driveway and the street, and then hose down again. I was planning on buying a power washer when I was done, but it was not needed. And we made no request of the clean up. Adam just said that he hates to leave a mess. Adam was great to work with. Answered calls the same day from start to finish and never took more than an hour or so to answer a text….unheard of these days. It did take them a few months to get started because they were so busy but Adam was very up front about timelines and weather delays. We felt like we got a fair price for the work that was done compared to quotes that we have gotten in the past, but it was a fantastic price when you take into account the service. Adam conducts business the way EVERY contractor should. I just wish he did bathroom remodeling!"

"We've worked with a lot of contractors. Outdoor Artisan is the best we've ever worked with. First off, we interviewed many companies for this project. We were amazed at how many didn't show, promised quotes and didn't deliver, had no ideas and asked us to come up with a plan, or were completely overpriced for unimaginative or cookie cutter ideas. We wanted something that was unique, well made, and beautiful. From the outset, it was a pleasure to talk to the owner's wife, Tracey, who was kind, courteous, and responsive. They stopped and told us that they didn't like it, we agreed, and changed the color and design. We are so used to contractors that do not do what they say they will do. It was so refreshing to deal with someone who actually cares about their commitments and reputation. Everyone who has seen our patio has been blown away. It is a work of art and a joy to just sit and look at. It has been two years since installation and we have had no problems. Gorgeous in every way. We are now moving. The patio was a huge selling point and allowed us to get a lot more money for our home than other comps in our neighborhood. Accu-Dry had excellent references, so we asked Tim for an estimate. He came the next day, and recommended an interior French drain with adequate drainage to the outside. Not only did his crew install the interior drain, they removed the aforementioned ridiculous perimeter bricks and helped us remove a lot of the damaged walls. They also lined the walls with a membrane to prevent any more wall seepage. They installed an extensive drainage system outside and connected the interior French drain and the roof gutter downspouts to it the outside sewer. They meticulously replaced bricks from the back patio that had to be moved for the installation. They installed a cement curb on the side of the driveway to lead rainwater to the drainage system. They cleaned up as much as possible every evening. This was all accomplished in approximately one week.

Tim's crew was prompt, worked extremely hard, and were polite, clean-cut and professional.  Since they completed the work we have had storms with heavy downpours, and the basement floor has stayed completely dry. We are extremely pleased with the work and highly recommend his company to anyone with a wet lower level or basement.

I live in a 45 year old house in Waxhaw, and it has a lot of problems.  A few years ago I had ground water problems and needed a letter for the insurance company to state that the issues had been corrected.  Chris Manus was quick to respond to my inquiry, came out when he said he would, and did the letter for me.

Recently, it became clear that the time had come to fix some foundation problems as the floors in the home were sagging.  Chris gave me a competitive estimate and was able to start the job quite quickly.  They pulled lines in the basement to determine the extent of the sag, and ordered material in.  The masons come soon after and built new cinderblock footings, then the joists were raised to level everything.  All communication was clear, quick and he kept me updated on what was happening.  While working in the crawlspace, he told us that there was a mold issue, and for just the cost of the chemicals needed to spray it, took care of that as well.  We are happy with everything that he has done.

Currently we are working on several other things that we need; an outside retaining wall repaired, insulation replacement in the crawlspace, and a bathroom remodel (or two).  Chris is working diligently to try to keep these estimates within our budget and we wouldn't consider having anyone else do the work. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing work done on their home.  He is professional, courteous, and responsive.

"Jerry and his wife answered my call right away regarding a quote and were out to our house the next day. Once we decided to move forward with them, they were able to schedule the project promptly. Jerry and his team looked at several brickyards to find matching bricks to fill in the foundation hole and, while they couldn't find the exact one (it had been discontinued), the one that they ended up using matches very well and my husband and I are very happy with the final result. Jerry's team also did a good job on the side steps and were able to make the railing completely sturdy, which was my primary concern."
