"Super nice guy. But we had issues. All we were doing was sanding, re-staining, and polying our stairs. First, there was a 2-day delay starting. Understandable, their sander broke. But when the actual guy came out to do the actual work I had to explain what we were having done. It was like Brandon did not communicate with his labor. There was a language barrier so things that were supposed to be sanded did not. Then when the guy stained the steps it clearly did not match although he claimed it did. It was nowhere near the right color. We reached out to Brandon via text and phone and he did straighten things out. But a contractor should show up at the site to get his guys started and communicate with them. Then a different person came out to apply the poly but could not say when they would come back for additional coats. It was like we had to keep pressing to stay on track. They did come back on consecutive days and in the end, the stairs look great. We are happy with the work, but a contractor needs to be more involved. Brandon did lower the final cost to reflect the top nosing that was missed. But all of that could have been avoided by being on-site to start his crew. And of course, communicate with us better on when we can expect them. Again super nice guy, the job was done and we like it, but I do think we would have had bigger problems had we not kept checking the work."
