"The house was struck by a tree and caused extensive damage to the chimney and roof, Smith Exteriors had the work done in a timely manner repairing the damaged rafters, roofing deck, ridge vent, shingle surface, gutters, fascia, soffit and chimney repairs in three days. "Elvin Martin came to our home for an estimate at the agreed upon time, sent us the quote promptly, answered all of our questions, and completed the work quicker than the originally discussed time frame. We had received 2 estimates for the job. Although another company owner (also found through Angie's List) was professional and came well-recommended, we decided to hire Elvin Martin of Lancaster Seamless Gutters because his estimate was considerably less than the other company's for the same work. <br /> Elvin and his associate, Bob, installed the new fascia board and gutter, refit the old gutter guards, reattached a downspout, and removed all debris as promised, even reattaching a loose downspout strap for us (without our asking). The 2 men were pleasant and easy to work with. They worked quickly and competently. We were pleased with their work and would definitely recommend their services. <br />"

"Bought a daily deal through Angie's List and after several miscommunications, the work was completed on Sat., 9/6. After they left, we noticed they failed to replace some shingles that had blown off. My husband indicated to them that we had spare shingles that could be used. They indicated that the mansard part of the roof was difficult to keep shingles on. We agreed but didn't realize that they hadn't replaced some shingles on another area of the roof. It would have been an easy fix. My husband, being disabled is not able to do this type of work. They did give suggestions on some repairs to the chimney plus a minor adjustment to the roof fan."
