"I had to discharge them because they were unacceptable. He's a good gardener but his punctuality and reliability leave something to be desired. I called the first time he was a no-show and didn't call us to let us know he wouldn't be able to make it. I had to call twice and it went straight to voice-mail. There was a good reason, but he should've called. I told him that and asked that he not let it happen again. A week later, it did happen again. Again, there was a good reason, but again he should've called. We also never got prompt billing - we never knew when we'd receive them. It made things difficult."

"We contracted with CDC Pools in December 2017 for a large ($35K) overhaul of an old diving pool that still had a whip system to clean the bottom, badly cracked cool decking, and a cracked concrete slab. Since the cost of this job was going to be larger than our first home purchase in 1977 (gulp), we wanted to make sure that we hired a skilled, qualified company, that knew materials, could provide helpful design suggestions, and one we could count on the fully complete the job to our satisfaction. After obtaining competitive bids, we decided to go with CDC. Cassie Selles, who contracted the job for CDC, was nothing short of amazing. She knows her company, knows pool remodeling ins and outs, and was able to give us advice on materials. (Artistic pavers vs Travertine, minipebble vs plaster, pool color etc.) Our job began on January 11th and was to be completed by February 28. Due to adept scheduling and crews, our job was complete on February 3rd! (Cassie came out this morning and we added additional paver work to the front of our house!) Here’s our information that will help you as you consider CDC Pools: 1. Bid and pricing: Not the cheapest bid, but competitive, and we felt well worth the expertise and security we would have knowing that company is a long time valley company that would stand behind their work. If you are remodeling, confidence in the company’s expertise is important so that you can address any issue that comes up with an old pool. We had no additional costs because of the careful bidding from CDC. 2. Scheduling and crews: Because of the stable crews, we were extremely pleased with the progress of our project. We watched the paver and chip out crews work very long days and with care for our property. It was always left clean and we had no complaints from neighbors around us. We knew when crews were coming, asked them to use only a designated gate for entrance and exit, and they were respectful of our requests. 3. Job supervision and management: Our supervisor Sergio, Cassie, job foremen, and the CDC office staff were available to answer questions and communicate when we needed them to. Justin, the job foreman for the paver crew, made time to meet with us personally to answer questions about the Artistic Paver material and to address specific drainage issues. As with any job, as property owners, it’s important to make sure you ask questions and understand what is being done and how things are going. CDC was always available to us. We hope this helps you as you consider your pool remodel. It’s a big job, you want it done right and you want a company that will stand behind their work long term. We were very pleased with the process and love our new backyard and pool. Bring on summer 2018! The McFadyens"

"They were knowledgeable about our sprinkler system. Were able to figure out what was wrong in a timely manner. Were professional in their approach to this job. The repair was successful. We also used this company to winterize our sprinkler system this month. <br />"

"After five days in the valley, we had a $300 water bill because one of our four irrigation stations went on the day we left and didn’t turn off. We’ve used Magic since 2004 and so called them to get an estimate on repairing it. As the system is 20 years old, we decided to replace all four stations. Ginger came out quickly to give us an estimate, and I was pleasantly pleased with the price, which I thought was very reasonable. They requested payment in advance, which we did. Technician Afraim came to do the repair. It was a pretty major deal and took him several hours. The workmanship was absolutely beautiful. We did have a problem. The next day, after cycling, one station would not turn off. It was not the station with the original problem. We had a new timer, so that was not the problem. The only way I could get the station to turn off, was to shut off the water entirely. They sent Afraim back again. He did whatever he did, tested the system, and left. But on the next scheduled cycle, the problem persisted again, I had to shut the system down to get it to stop. Afraim came back a third time, but the problem still persisted. It was clear at this point that magic management thought we were making this all up.(WHY would ANYONE do this?) The tech would do his tweak, test by turning the timer on and off, and everything would seem to be OK, but it wasn’t, because when it went through a cycle, it simply would not turn off. After the third visit, after he left, I ran it through a cycle. It didn’t turn off, and I called magic, spoke with Sean, and suggested he come back himself and see what was going on. He and the tech came and I believe replaced the valve entirely and everything finally worked! So at the end, we got what we wanted at a good price. Magic management needlessly made the process of resolving this a bit unpleasant, but finally got it done."

"Exceptionally! We could not ask for a better contractor. Mike and his team did an amazing job on time. When our builder could not negotiate a reasonable cost or schedule, we searched and interviewed this company. We looked at several of their jobs around Show Low and were very impressed. They communicated throughout the process and performed meticulously. All of our expectations were met. And we have asked them to perform other work in the spring. Highly recommend hiring this company."
