"From the moment I met Guy, I sensed he was very different from other contractors with whom I'd worked....and it was true. He wrote down, in detail, everything that was to be done and it was all completed beautifully and in a timely manner. He brought in superb craftsmen and treated them with great respect, something I've found lacking in other contractors with whom I've worked. Whenever I had a question, he responded promptly and visited often to make sure I was pleased with the work. He even built a custom support for an under-mount sink when the one provided by the manufacturer proved flimsy--something that wasn't even included in our contract! I'd developed some trust issues over the last couple years as a result of working with dishonest contractors or those whose work was of a poor quality. Guy renewed my faith. He is an honest, kind, skilled man and I will never use another contractor. Thank you, Guy!"

"From the planning stage, to the completion of all the permits from The building & safety department the remodeling project of our house… the work that was made by our contractor Ron (from Halo) was much more than just ‘excellent’. The results of all the spaces at our house (Kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms etc..) ended with a classy, very efficient, super comfortable 3 bedrooms 2.5 baths house with stunning rooms and beautiful features. Ron is a truly master contractor and his way of work made us fall in love with him."

"Very well. I'm extremely pleased with the job Asher did and it is so nice having the extra room for all my utility supplies and a separate room for my pantry items. Custom shelving was installed in both areas and a tile floor was installed in both areas, plus a recessed light was put in both areas. It looks very attractive now and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Vision Remodeling to any of my friends."

"Very well. immediate response from initial contact and an estimate was received. Adrian showed us our product options in the showroom. An estimate start date was given, they actually started ahead of time. The workers were on time everyday. Adrian or his brother were there every day on site answer any questions and to ensure the work was being done as contracted. Drop cloths were laid down each day to pick up roof debris and collected at the end of the day. There was minimal mess. Adrian was very helpful in answering all of our question and providing helpful ideas. I would definitely recommend So Cal Construction."

"Steve was easy to talk to and very honest/straight forward regarding his opinion on custom cabinets and whether or not they are actually worth the money (especially since our intentions are to sell our home in the next three years). He gave some very helpful suggestions on options we might consider to keep the price down. I'm very grateful I took the time to call him before signing a contract at Lowe's."

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Cima, CA

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
