One of the reasons I chose AHR was not just due to the best price, they came in line with other estimates I received, but because they included things with their final price that similar companies had as add-ons at an extra cost such as the dumpster and gutter system. I did not know what to expect as this was the first time I've had these things replaced. My rep John was awesome, he was professional, friendly and accommodating, and was able to work with me on the spot vs. "I have to check back to the owners" which I got from other companies. John was readily available by phone, text, and in person. He walked me through all the steps, timelines, and the whole process. After the crew finished, he took my list of 'nit-pick' things and made sure they were addressed. "HORRIBLE/HORRIBLE/HORRIBLE - DO NOT RECOMMEND I GIVE -5 (NEGATIVE) STAR I bought a house which had oil heat and no water heater and central AC. I received few quotes from multiple HVAC contractors and one of them was SoS Services, Springfield, NJ. SoS wasnt the cheapest but the owner, Rob, seemed very promising so I gave the work to him. My biggest mistake in 2024. We got under contract at the end of October and I have been asking him to put the permits for the work since then, it is Dec 19th today and him or his company has not put in permit paper work to upgrade my home electric, installing new duct work, adding new HVAC and Water heater, installing gas lines inside the house for kitchen, laundry, water heater and HVAC. Gas company is waiting for the inspections report for air test on gas lines which are still not installed before they can put the meter. It is Dec 19th today and weather has been very cold this year in Dec. Work still not completed"
