"Poorly. Old Castle exceeded the one month estimate and completion took 3 1/2 months. They exhibited poor communication skills, were unresponsive and careless, significantly damaging our existing bathroom vanities, kitchen cabinets, kitchen sink and failed to cover our outdoor terrace, left caked up cement and adhesives on the surface which therefor needs repair/repainting. We eventually agreed a resolution with them but they did not do any of the agreed repairs to our vanities. We have never posted a negative review on social media but strongly recommend that you select a different contractor."

Beckett's has been cleaning carpets in the southeast for over 5 decades. We take pride in our work. If we cannot get your spot out, it cannot be cleaned. Honesty and integrity are our creed. Reliable and dependable service is what you will receive. All residential and commercial cleaning includes the moving of furniture. No hidden costs. We look forward to earning your business. \nBeckett's is one of Atlanta's oldest and most respected carpet cleaning companies. We have been satisfying clients since 1968 in Metro Atlanta. Becketts is a Family Owned and operated business with 3 generations of carpet cleaners. We are experienced in all aspects of carpet cleaning with over 5 decades of knowledge. Sidney Beckett started the company and the slogan Satisfaction Guaranteed in 1945. This slogan has become more than just a slogan, it is a promise that we are not finished until you're satisfied.\nBeckett's is a full service Carpet Cleaning Service. We offer a broad range of cleaning techniques and systems. \n\nProper use of any method involves a number of different steps and procedures. These include dry vacuuming prior to cleaning, spot cleaning by hand and proper finishing of the carpet fiber following cleaning. The descriptions of various methods below list the procedures which are unique to each. It is important to note; however, that these individual differences are always part of a complete procedure.\n\n\nCleaning Methods\nRotary Shampoo\nThe carpet is cleaned by a rotary machine using a soft brush and a specially formulated neutral detergent. The brushing action is just enough to break the bond between soil and the carpet fiber, but gentle enough that it is less abrasive than a normal upright vacuum. The detergent used is made by Selig Chemical and contains a soil retardant to help keep your carpet looking cleaner longer. Shampoo cleaning became part of our service when synthetic detergents with built in soil retardant's were developed in the late 1940's, Beckett’s used this type of cleaning as a standard until the Mid 1970’s.\n\nMajor drawback - soap acts like a magnet to dirt, and this technique leaves high deposits of soap in the carpeting which results in carpet appearing to be dirty faster than it should.\n\nHot Water Extraction (Steam)\nA solution of water and detergent is injected into the carpet under pressure. It is then immediately extracted together with soil and spots which have been loosened and suspended. This method which has been used in some rug cleaning plants over the years was adapted to be used on location in the 1970's. Beckett’s was among the first cleaners in the Atlanta area to offer this new process in the mid 1970's. \n\nDry\nThe basis of this system is a dry compound which contains a blend of solvents. This compound is applied to the carpet and then brushed in with equipment designed to disperse it evenly and work it deep into the carpet pile. The compound absorbs soil and stains as it dries. Thorough vacuuming when dry removes the dry compound together with the dissolved soil and spots.\n\nOther Methods\nA number of other methods are also available such as bonnet cleaning (absorbent pad) and dry foam. Our experience with them also dates back generations. These methods are generally faster and less costly but also less effective than the methods listed above.\n\nBeckett’s offers every major cleaning method.\n\nCleaning Services Offered\nResidential Carpet Cleaning \nCommercial Carpet Cleaning \nWater Extraction\n\nPaul R. "Excellent service and installation. Pedro came to the house to measure and gave us the estimate. Miranda went through the process step by step with us. Alfonso and his team did installation. Everything went smoothly. We've already refer them to a couple of friends."

FAQs for vinyl or linoleum sheet flooring or tiles installation projects in Clarkdale, GA

For planks, you’ll need an extra 10% to cover waste. For sheet floors, expect to waste at least 20%.

A square yard of vinyl is 9 square feet. Typically, you’ll pay $18 to $45 to have a professional purchase and install a square yard.

Vinyl flooring thickness matters for both durability and feel. Thicker floors have a more cushioned feel to them and typically have a thicker wear layer.

Vinyl plank floors typically come in 8- and 9-inch widths, though a few brands offer widths up to 12 inches.

How many tiles you’ll need depends on the area of your floor and the size of the tiles you’re using. To get an exact number for your floor, use our resilient tile calculator.
