"I had major land erosion issues due to the way he cut my land which is near the top of a mountain. He cut the area where the house was built into a bowl that is clay soil. I had 3 graders and my builder questioning why he cut the land the way he did. We had a land slide after Helene. The culvert he put at the top of the property was too high to drain anything and water would sit near the home until it evaporated. I discussed all of this with him and he said he would come out and fix it. He never fixed it. I paid another grader to reslope the land so it could drain properly. "

"I do NOT recommend Rusty with Premium Grading and Pipe. I hired Rusty for land grading, drainage, and concrete work (sidewalk and steps), and the results were extremely poor. Water continues to pool in the same areas I initially reported, and the concrete work was a disaster--discolored, chipped, and mixed with clay due to being poured in the rain using dirty wheelbarrows and random tools taken from my garage without permission. Workers even wiped mortar with torn t-shirts and were found sleeping in my garage without consent. Scheduling was inconsistent and unreliable. I missed multiple days of work waiting for crews who never showed up and failed to provide any notice. Rusty repeatedly dodged responsibility with excuses such as, "It's not my crew--they're family friends I subcontracted," or, "The land needs time to settle." There was always--always--some excuse. While Rusty and his team were courteous at first, communication deteriorated significantly after I paid in full. Follow-up"

"Our experience has not been good. We hired John to prep the ground an seed. Our start date was canceled and rescheduled 4 times. The day they arrived, we had concerns about the forecasted rain storms that were starting that evening. We were told the nylon mesh would hold the seed in place. It didn't, the next day we had deep rain ruts under the mesh, and expressed concern about the damage the rain did. No one came by to look at it, we continued reaching out, again we were canceled and rescheduled multiple times. ( Never put mesh in your yard, we have spent countless hours picking up trash bags full of this material It is still everywhere), this work was performed June 2024. These are the pictures as of Feb 2025. $7k job plus the hundreds of gallons of watering, yielded these results. Very unhappy customers."
