They said they had other jobs to do before they would come out to my house. They are supposed to come before Thanks Giving. They have been really good so far. "HDF powerwashed the entire structure even under the top two decks.  They removed all rotten and suspect floor boards, railing and posts.  My lower deck was the worst because its the closest to the ground.  The original deck builder did not put flashing on the wall where the decking is attached to the house. HDF put flashing where it was supposed to be. Also, that dug drainage channels for the water to flow away from my lower deck. It had been retaining water around the footers for 15 years.  HDF's attention to detail is second to none.  They primed and sealed all new wood then applied 10 gallons of Behr premium stain.
 
My deck looks brand new and from a short distance looks like a Trex deck.  HDF did an outstanding job.  I would not hesitate to call on them in the future."

"The service was good. I paid an extra hundred dollars on top of the Big Deal. It is a pretty big deck so it took the guy longer than four hours to do it. The way they installed it worked; it was fine. It was not 100% exactly what we want. That was the only thing, but it was kind of important because we were trying to keep out groundhogs from getting underneath our deck. We kind of wanted it installed in an L-shape than just going straight down. The installed it straight down in a wonderful area. I am not sure if the guy would have been able to make the L-shape where it was installed. The guy might not have been able to install that part in an L and he was able to install it that way for the rest of the lattice."
