"I thought he did a good job explaining what he did do but very disappointed they didn't explain that you had to pay a lot extra money to actually find out what kind of mold if any you had. The $199.00 fee they only looked for mold & tested the air quality. If they found any mold it cost a lot more to find out what type. He did say we had mold in our crawl space but not what kind, that cost more money. Overall good for what he did do."

"The company sent a packet with instructions to provide samples from two sites. We returned these in the Priority envelope provided. Within a few days we received an evaluation of the mold. It does not appear to be a serious problem. I would have graded this work higher if the company had provided general guidelines for remediating the problem. We were relieved to find the problem not serious, but would have appreciated more clarity, such as a simple page outlining safe and unsafe do-it-yourself procedures materials materials. (Suggestions I found online, such as whether to use vinegar, bleach, etc., were sometimes confusing, even contradictory.)"

"I had called a contractor to evaluate the problem in my basement which consisted of visible mold growth on drywall and furnishings. He could not determine the cause of the problem and felt it was beyond his expertise. I then called AMD to inspect my home  and the owner, Craig Camel, performed a detailed inspection lasting approx. 4 hours.  He found mold growth not only in the basement but throughout the house and showed me the mold growing behind furniture, under beds, etc.  He submitted a proposal for remediation in a timely manner.  I then contacted another mold remediation company for a second quote which was a bit higher and also involved my contracting for a plumber and HVAC specialist which, aside from the difficulty of finding someone and coordinating the work with the mold remediation, it would also involve extra costs above the quoted price.   As well, his process for remediation was different in some respects from AMD.  I chose AMD primarily because the owner, Craig Camel, seemed extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and professional. <br /> Because of the extent of the problem, the remediation lasted about 2 weeks.  I saw Craig on a daily basis as he checked in on the progress of the work.  He kept a close eye on all the activity.  His staff were wonderful, polite and respectful of my home and understanding of the disruption the work caused and doing their utmost to be as unobtrusive as possible.  Craig also took the time to explain the process in detail and answer my many questions.  The remediation was not a pleasant experience by any means but Craig and his employees made it as smooth as possible.  Honestly, I have never worked with a contractor that was so good. <br />  I am grateful that I used AMD for my mold remediation and I want to thank Craig and his staff for the wonderful service that I received on my home.  The care that they took with my personal belongings, regardless of their value, as well as the knowledge and expertise that they were able to provide throughout the process truly made me feel confident and at ease with the work being done on my home. Not only did they do a fantastic job of getting rid of the mold in my home, but Craig provided me with tons of advice on how to prevent a recurrence of the problem.  As much as it was a joy to work with an honest, professional company such as AMD, I hope I never have to call them again!
