A friendly lady that set the appointment asked me a lot of details about the problem and decided a Master Plumber was the best choice. I was sent a picture and a brief info about the man coming to do the job before he came. Gary Gates was older, great work ethic, experienced, and had EVERYTHING on his truck to repair or replace my hot water tank. Being in a rural area, that was a new one for me. Usually service people have to go back to town for parts. He spoke directly to HomeServe on the phone; got them to understand a repair would still require a replacement very soon and be a waste of money, so they agreed to the replacement; I agreed to pay the cost of the upgrades I needed to be to code and he installed the new water heater. It was a very seamless job, and done very clean and neat, with good information all along the way about what I needed to do to take good care of it too. I will definitely recommend this company and this plumber."

I was concerned about the water heater anode since the water heater is 8 years old. The technician asked about the water coming from the water heater and smells or colorization of the hot water. It was decided the anode is fine at this time. Due to my flushing the water heater every 6 months that probably will extend the life of the anode. The technician, whose name was Jacob, asked about any other plumbing issues I knew about that might needed attention. I was given estimates for making the needed repairs by email in the early afternoon. They do good work but expect that it will cost more than some plumbing companies."

"Fast response after submitting problem. AC unit details were too faded to read so Carl came by to give find out what parts would be needed and give a estimate the same day. His estimate was lower then I had expected since it needed more work than past repair work. He showed up the next morning on time (actually early) and had the AC going before the day got hot. His price ended up on the low side of his estimate. And having it repaired within a day was a added bonus. He also removed spice lines and went direct, and made sure to replace the capacitor to insure proper compatibility. I have found my new HVAC repair person."
