"I hired Joe based on a colleague?s recommendation. Although his customer service initially concerned me, I gave him the benefit of the doubt. After receiving his initial quote, I paid a deposit for the visit and an additional amount for parts, with the understanding that labor would be paid after installation. After that, communication became inconsistent, and eventually, he stopped responding altogether for about 90 days. When I reached out to escalate the matter, he promised to give me an answer the next day?but months passed without follow-up. I eventually reached him again, and he agreed to refund my deposit. That refund never came through. Having since moved out of state, I was unable to address the matter in person. Based on my experience, I strongly advise against doing business with Joe. In my case, he took payment without fulfilling the work or returning the funds, and I fear others may face the same outcome."

"The tech from appliances USA pro was able to diagnose the issue as a burnt out capacitor and relay switch... However they quoted me a ridiculously high $422 to just replace the relay switch and capacitor... Which costs about $20 on Amazon. The part is a plug that simply attached to the compressor... I was able to able that and install it in less than 10 minutes.. This company does a bait and switch and is not a an ethical company to hire for repairing appliances.. don't recommend using them for repairs . "

"On 5/29/25 Tristin came to my house and gave me a quote on a new shower remodel with a new toilet, and we signed the contract. I thought $12,000 plus was exorbitant, but Tristin assured me that Long Home uses quality materials, excellent craftsmanship, and excellent service. He told me that they will replace all the pipes, and the shower and toilet will have lifetime warranties. So, I agreed and gave him half down and it was scheduled for the 6/27/25 and 6/28/25. Tristian called me on the 6/5/25 and told me that for the shower I choose the half wall that was part of my existing shower would have to be removed, he said otherwise I would have to pay an additional $1,500+, because the shower I agreed to couldn’t be installed otherwise. I told Tristin on 5/29/25 that I did not want the wall removed, but after talking to Tristin on the 5th I relented and said the wall could be removed and ordered another toilet for my other bathroom. The day of the installation came, and one guy came on time and the actual plumber came about 2 hours late around noon. They started working on the demolition and Tristin came around 4pm to move the power socket that was in the wall they removed. He put a rough patch on the wall and installed the outlet without the cover. They removed my cabinet from the wall so they could take down the wall but never replaced it. They worked until 10 pm on Friday. Tristin was supposed to come out on Saturday to finish the patch and put the cover on the outlet. Saturday 6/28/25 the helper arrived at 830 am and the plumber arrived at 1030, at 450 pm the plumber showed me the shower rod they sent with my shower, and it was too short. He told me to call Tristin, I did, and he said OK Tristin never showed up and the two guys finished at 945 pm without putting the cabinet back up. I checked the toilet in the bathroom where the shower was installed, and it kept running after I flushed it, and I put a toilet cleaning tab in the other one and noticed the toilet lid does not fit right. I texted Tristin on Sunday morning telling him about both toilets and he texted me back on that Monday and said he could come at 4pm. I work nights and did not get up until around 5pm and I texted him and told him that I do not usually get up until 6pm during the week when I work and he never messaged me back. I sent Tristin another text on Saturday 7/5/25 telling him to ask him when he could come out and fix the problems I have. I have not heard back as of yet. Long Home charges a premium price and Tristin told me that I would get premium service, he said this is why they charge so much, but the experience I’ve had is anything but premium, I paid $12,000 and I only have one toilet that works correctly even though the lid doesn’t fit properly, I had to buy a shower rod so I could use my shower, since the one I bought from them didn’t fit, which makes no sense because they knew the dimensions of the shower. I had to have a wall removed that I did not really want removed, because they made a mistake when I signed the contract. I have the outlet in my bathroom wired without a cover, my wall is not finished, and my cabinet is still sitting in my bedroom. I do not mind spending the money for something, but I want the product and the service to be worth the price, I paid for professionals, but this is not the problems you are supposed to have with professionals."

"I’m not a person that has ever written one these reviews but I feel potential customers should know what I had to endure. I had a full tank and drain field replacement. I started this process in January and they finished the work 06/28, not to mention I didn’t receive the updated invoice until 08/06. Communication, setting expectations, and executed work have all been horrendous. Communication - I’m not going to list all the scenarios but I had over a dozen different times where I had to call follow up on a situation that they could have alerted me to. Setting expectations - Everything ran late with no follow up. Aside from the obvious 5-6 month timeframe, I woke up early, called out of work, and cancelled plans for events this company never showed up to. Executed work - The main driver for this job was to relocate my tank and drain field so I could build a larger shed in my back yard, all of this was explained to them. 2/5 of the drain field was placed in my build area forcing me to change plans with my contractor and I will need to build a much smaller shed. Additionally they killed my plumeria tree, concaved a wall on the existing shed, dented my chainlink fence, severed my internet line and wrecked my yard beyond what I thought was possible. I was reimbursed $250 total, with $100 being the internet cord. I would have never agreed to do business with this company if I know the level of indifference. I hope this review will give new customers pause."

"We worked with S&W kitchens to remodel our kitchen. Luckily it was taking them WAY longer than they said it should because then the hurricane hit. We then contracted with them to fix the flood damage. The project went so badly that we told them not to do the bathroom. We just wanted them out of our house. They take on WAY too many projects and then don't have the subs to do the work. I thought it was because of the flood but the subs we spoke to said they ALWAYS do that. We live on the beach but most of the subs live on the east side of Tampa. Therefore they told us they couldn't be here before 10am. Then they left at 3. I suppose they didn't want to hit rush hour. The subs took no pride in their work. I'm sure if they were doing the same thing to their house it would be done right. The designer that we worked with "Joanne" said she had been designing kitchens for years but she actually had no idea how to do it. The appliance and cabinet doors slam into each other and can't be open at the same time. We had asked to have certain things done and when it was installed we asked why it wasn't to our specifications she said well that is standard. She lengthened the island 18" on her own then when it was being installed she said yes she changed it but it was on the plans. Is the homeowner supposed to go around reading updated plans? When we complained to her after installation of all these things she never even said "I'm sorry." The floors in the kitchen were not leveled before putting the lament down so there are soft spots. I'm told that will shorten the life of the flooring. Because of all of this, instead of being happy and excited with the kitchen and the rest of the house the joy was taken out of it because of all the problems. All in all a very horrible anxiety ridden project with little or no customer service."
