"A salesman from Home Genius came to my house and gave me an estimate. Companies never give an itemized estimate like you would get at a car lot. He showed me a tablet contract with the different charges but did not email me a copy. I called the company last week but they have not sent me a copy yet. A week or so later the ordered materials arrived and the workers came to put up the siding. One of the workers asked me if the fascia and soffit was supposed to be installed. I had no idea what they even were. I told him I understood the entire house was supposed to be sided. He told me that those products were not included in what they brought. The project manager had already come and gone. I did not see him until after the workers had done the siding. That was the next day. I asked him about the fascia and soffits. He said it wasn't in my contract. I asked how much to finish it and he told me $10.000. I could not believe it. Brian Henderson, the salesman, never said anything about fascia and soffits not being included. And as I remember it, he glossed very quickly over the contract. This is how I get cheated. These companies don't go over their contract slowly. They whiz through them quickly nor giving you a chance to see what is on them. I have complain to both Home Genius and Good leap Finance and told them what happened. I am tired of being played for a sucker."

Scott understood and took into account some of the historic details of the summer cottage. When it came time to install the windows and add gutters, they arrived on time, called ahead to let us know they were on the way and were respectful about where to park. The guys were all friendly and worked ho*** ** 2 very cold days. Brandon and Gabe answered all my questions and made sure all the details were attended to. And, they cleaned up well! "We had the wind blow off a small piece of our roofing trim (facia) I knew it might be hard to get someone to come up for a smaller job. Lived in same city as Shawn and he had great reviews so I called him. He was very responsive and helpful. Came out the following day to replace. Was a tough small job as roof was pretty steep and on second level. He did a great job and stuck with it until he got it replaced right. I know he would prefer larger jobs but very much appreciated him coming out and taking care of this problem for us. Pricing was reasonable, it was a tricky job to replace it."
