"<p>George was very punctual.  He was polite and very professional.  He wasted no time, had all the tools that were needed and did more than I expected. He was so tidy and pleasant that I was impressed.  We all decided that we had other small issues that we needed help with. His schedule is very busy but we all (including George) have decided that when he has some otherwise free time in the area he will call and we can expect his professional services when we are all available.  We look forward to enlisting his future aid. His prices were well with-in reason. We are glad that we found this business in our area and intend to tell friends and neighbors. When he is available, we certainly look forward to an ongoing relationship with this service provider.</p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

"Bathroom remodel consisted of removing existing fiberglass shower, bathtub, double vanity, existing flooring, mirror and lighting.   Two individual custom vanities were installed along with a cabinet for over the toilet.   Wall was added to accommodate customer shower with two shower heads.   Shower was tiled floor to ceiling and highlighted with glass tile accents and insets.   Shower floor was rock tiles.    New bathroom tile floor was put in.   Vanities were fitted with granite counter tops.   New lighting was installed in shower, above both vanities and small chandelier in middle of bathroom.    The bathroom door from the master bedroom was replaced with a barn door.    Finished product was outstanding and exceeded our expectations for both the bathroom and the kitchen.  Our contractor, Andy Perez, was a delight to work with.   He accommodated our every request for change and upgrade and was committed to delivering exactly what we wanted done to the highest standard.   He was on-site very regularly and stressed that we work everything through him and not the subs.   My wife and I would give him the highest recommendation and would not hesitate to use him in the future.    Truly a consummate professional in every sense of the word and very trustworthy with utmost integrity. <br />"

"When I called Nationwide for information on how they cleaned tufted rugs, Mike asked me all about them and the nature of their soiling. He gave me an estimate over the phone for the carpets and for each rug individually. A real selling point for me was that they use a green, water-based cleaning method that leaves very little residue in the carpets so they aren't left sticky where they would attract future soil. The price he quoted for cleaning the carpets was quite fair ($135). He recommended taking the tufted rugs back to the shop for deep cleaning and deorldorizing although he also offered me the less expensive option of having them just surface cleaned. I thought about it for a few days and then called back for an appointment. He got me in within a week. MIke brought a helper both the day he came to clean the carpets and the day he brought back my cleaned tufted rugs. Both he and his helpers were extremely professional and polite. The carpets were spotless and odor-free. The tufted rugs had no clear signs of pet urine, though one did retain some discoloration from dog skin oils where the dog would rub her tummy. They were both fresh smelling. I was completely satisfied with Mike's knowledge, work, care, and service. I would use Nationwided again and recommend him highly."

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Clifton, TX

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
