"These two men were excellent. Showed up when they said they would, made the repairs and left the site clean and tidy. They are both good communicators and made me feel confident in my choice"

"I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal in September, 2012 for 2 painters for a day for $399. I contacted Scott in approximately August, 2013 before the expiration of this deal on July 17, 2013. He said he would honor the deal even after the expiration date. Scott came to my house on August 6, 2013 to look at the area, tell me how much paint I would need and a price of $100 for additional patching.
We had some difficulty scheduling a mutually agreeable date to do the work, so we finally got together on a date of Saturday April 18, 2015. Scott needed to get a ladder in order to reach the areas of my ceiling that needed to be patched. He came with 2 helpers instead of just 1, so I got 3 painters for the day. The patching and painting was completed on Saturday, and I decided to get the trim painted as well, which included 11 doors plus 2 doorways, floor moldings, etc. Scott sent one of his helpers - Tom, to paint the trim on Sunday, April 19. I paid an additional $250 for the trim painting.
The cost was $824 for labor plus what I spent for paint. I bought more than this job needed because I have other areas of my house that also need painting.
I am very pleased with the results. The area hasn't been painted in the 25 years since the house was built. Since it was so high and large it really needed a professional. There was also patching needed that was in high areas of the ceiling and where the ceiling met the wall, some of the original taping of the seams had lifted. Scott also gave me advice on another painting issue I have with the external doors peeling, and refinishing my hard wood floor.

"I’m satisfied with L & H. The work done was good and the price was fair, and Tim was very flexible with timing. The thing I appreciated most was that he was wiling to replace only the actual front door slab without a pre-built frame (unlike other contractors I talked to), which would have changed the entire configuration and look of the front porch entry. It was a custom door and he still had to cut it to fit with the sloped floor (this is normal for porches) but he made it work and I’m happy with it."

"After exploring many fence installers and getting bids from several,I found Fenceworks on Angie's List and gave them a call as their ratings were very good but had not heard of them at the time.We discussed our project with them, reviewed product options, discussed installation and requested a bid.Reviewing all our options,we decided to try the smaller, local, family owned business and were we ever thrilled with that decision!!
The material was manufactured locally and top rate Fenceworks installation staff were professional, friendly, efficient and careful with their work. The owners were quick to respond to questions about price, installtion and product options and showed a genuine concern that the work be done to ur satisfaction, always providing helpful and clear information to all of our questions.
This was an expensive and important project for us and we had many concerns going into it.The final product exceeded all our expectations.Other local companies we requested to bid on our project were also very professional and attentive to our requirements, but Fenceworks was outstanding in ever aspect of the job from swift and helpful advice,to professional work standards,to professional and competent installers and fair and competetive pricing.
Fenceworks gets an A+++ from us.Thank you to all the staff and owners.

"Aaron looked at the rooms to be painted: living room, dining room and bedroom walls, trim and ceilings. He explained that because some paint came off the walls when I removed two old decals, those areas would need to be skim coated. The estimate seemed reasonable. Aaron and his crew arrived as scheduled and worked very hard for two and a half days. They paid close attention to detail, and the results are absolutely beautiful. The rooms look like new! I will definitely call Precision Coatings for my future painting needs."

"I'd had a evaluation and estimate from Exterior Solutions and after then not having received a call back or return email (the inspector had also pulled a loose single from my roof leaving it exposed) I went back to Angie's List. T&T came up, noting it had a good rating, I called. Dave and a colleague arrived, evaluated the roof and offered to repair it free of charge. Still blown away by this. A member of their crew arrived yesterday and did this; apparently they've ended up correcting other work done by Exterior Solutions and they only wanted the good will rating for the work. Incredibly nice and very professional."

"I hired Matt to fix a door broken by first responders during a rescue mission. Damage included frame, perimeter trim, plaster damage and door out of balance. Also, building owner additionally requested window insert to be replaced with solid wood. Also requested new door handle, and lock. I was doing this to help someone in rehab that could not return home until these repairs where done. Add to this, it was an odd size door making replacement next to impossible. Add to this, I am located 1200+miles away. Request was made via phone, explanation of what was wanted was good, but probably a bit sketchy on my side. Matt addresses this issue very quickly. He listened and questioned politely whenever I was vague. Matt was always professional. Bottom line, work was done in 1 and 1/2 days. Matt sent pictures so that I was always aware where the project was, which was extremely helpful because of the distance. In, truth, Matt's finished product was better than I could have hoped for. Very professional outcome."
