"The folks at Cohoes Carpet were easy to contact and very responsive. They were attentive to our need to have carpet installed quickly, in order to put our house on the market. We had them replace all of our carpet, which included 4 bedrooms, the upstairs hallway and all bedroom closets, the living room, dining room and study. The only floors we did not carpet were the kitchen, bathrooms and the entryway. We had estimates from 2 other providers (including Empire), and neither one came even CLOSE to the price we got from Cohoes!! One was more than double what Cohoes charged. <br /> We gave them a deposit so they could order the carpet, and when we were ready (after putting most of our belongings into storage, to de-clutter the house to make it easier to sell!), they came in and ripped out all of the old carpet and installed the new. We chose a neutral color in an inexpensive carpet, but we were very pleased with the results. It took them about a day and a half to complete the job, and they cleaned up after themselves the whole way. We were impressed with the degree of professionalism and pride taken in their work. Once, a worker said he was not happy with one of the strips that secures the carpet down at the seam where the bathroom floor met the carpet, and he left and cut another strip that fit better. I could not tell that there was anything wrong with the first one, until I saw the one he made to replace it! The stairs were carpeted SO MUCH better than the original! The installer nailed the carpet down just under the front edge of each step, making the whole stairway look fantastic. He worked hard to do that, and we hadn't even expected that kind of attention to detail. <br /> I asked them to leave me a few strips of the old carpeting, and they were happy to do that, even leaving me a few pieces of the new carpeting as well. I could not have been happier with their work, and with the customer service we received by the management. We would use them again in a heartbeat! <br />"

That was when I went on Angi and thankfully, Josh came to my rescue. He came to my house, measured the job I wanted to have done and the amount of carpet he said to order was much less than the first recommendation. I needed someone to make area rugs out of rolled carpet and a runner installed on stairs. Josh was extremely helpful and efficient in planning and scheduling my job. The installers were excellent, friendly and polite and went above and beyond to ensure I was very happy with the job. They were very meticulous in laying the area rugs and cleaning up any fibers and debris left behind when they were done. I will definitely be using and recommending Advanced Flooring N.Y., LLC in the future."

Our stairs are old and due to some variations in construction each step had to be measured separately and the vertical vinyl trim individually cut to size. Bob installed the steps and James measured every single vertical section to exactly fit the stair trim. Both the sizing and color match came out perfectly and the installation exceeded expectations. "It is important to work with Morris Losice. Our first attempt, with another member of the staff, was a bit unpleasant. We placed an order and never heard from him again. When we complained, Morris Losice took over, and everything was handled promptly and professionally. He came to our house at an arranged tome, measured the area, and took time to discuss our concerns. He agreed with the choice of our earlier order and immediately ordered it from the factory. We were asked to remove small items before installation, but the installer removed all the big pieces. His work was meticulous. Both Morris and the installer were friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable."

"After a portable air conditioner completely saturated a large hand hooked area rug, I thought it was ruined. I put fans on it trying to dry it out but it had already began to smell like mildew. I contacted Carbone carpets and they said they would be available to come pick up my rug in just an hour or so. They do charge for pick up and delivery. I ended up calling them back because I was able to get it into the car and they are so close to my home. When I pulled up, someone came out and took the rug out of my car immediately and carried it in for me..i didn't even have to ask! I have never had this rug professionally cleaned before and it sees a lot of traffic..kids, dogs, holiday tables packed with family and food. They said it would take a couple weeks and I honestly didn't keep track of the time. I can say when I did get my rug back it was so clean it looked brand new. The pile on it was gorgeous, and it was so clean that I dropped off my livingroom area rug to be cleaned as well. I did not compare any rug cleaning prices before hand. They are in my neighborhood so I chose them. This was an expensive rug, made to last decades, so it was money well spent and a job well done. <br />"

"They installed 1000 SF of hickory hardwood flooring in 5 rooms and a hallway covering entire first floor and removing carpet. They removed all moldings, where I was able to sand and repaint before they reinstalled them. Went over what was going to be done each day and how to deal with certain issues. Contact throughout the day with photos/texts/calls to make sure things were done the way we wanted it done. Cleaned up well after they were finished. The price was a bit high, but we did choose the most expensive type of flooring. But we got what we paid for, a fantastic looking floor that transformed our entire house."
