"The installation process went as planned. After the insulation, I expected a follow up to see how things went. After all, that's what happened after they did my window installation. No follow up took place. I gave it a few weeks to see if they would call or come by to see. After waiting I placed a call to address my concerns. The roof installation went fine, but they left debris on the brand new windows they installed along with splashing some black substance on my siding. I guess they expected the rain to wash it all away. They also left large piece of wood in my drive way and nails in my driveway and around my house. I was assured that someone would call me back since the members of the team handling my account was in a meeting. It is now been a week and no call back. That must be a heck of a meeting."

"Bob Laurendi and his Vandelay Roofing team are an absolute pleasure to deal with.  They were very responsive to my inquiry regarding my roofing needs, coming over and inspecting the existing roof within three (3) days of my first telephone call.  At that time, Bob explained the various options I should consider in installing a new (flat) roofing system, including cost variances and environmental considerations.  When I made my decision regarding the system I wanted, Bob told me he would have a formal quote to me within the week.
Less than a week later, Bob sent over his proposal and simple contract; I made one or two revisions to the specifications, which he readily accepted, and we scheduled the work for two or three weeks later.  Right on time, he and his crew called and advised me of their intent to start work the following day.  They worked over two (2) days, removing the old roofing system, repairing the wood sheathing where necessary, and installing the new TPO roofing system I had decided upon.  They worked quickly, efficiently, and cleanly, photographing every aspect of their work for my review.

"The team was very professional; They arrived on-time, as scheduled and were ready to go. Andy, the project lead, carefully checked to make sure he clearly understood our needs. Andy, who was fantastic to work with, was also there throughout the entire project. He made sure we were happy with all aspects of the work being performed. The crew made a noticeable effort to ensure that everything was properly prepared to prevent any damage to the house, plantings, etc. The team was very flexible and took great care to make sure that all work was accomplished in a high quality fashion. If we noticed something that required additional attention (i.e. some water damaged roof sheeting or loose nails), Andy's team replaced the plywood and re-nailed prior to installing the new roof. When the job was complete, the cleanup was performed with an attention to detail. Since the preparation was so thorough, there was no real mess once all the gear, netting and protective coverings were removed. Everything looked as if it had never been disturbed and with the new roof & gutters, it really looks fantastic! We are very pleased with the overall results and attention to detail. The work was completed quickly and efficiently. One real nice customer service touch was that Andy checked in several times each day during the job to make sure everything was to our liking and he made adjustments, as necessary. "The owner was at my house the same day I called. He gave us a grate price and started the job the next day. Excellent crew who worked fast and efficient to get the job done before our family party later that week. The job was so well cleaned up that you couldn't even tell they just ripped off a whole roof. The owner was at the job most of the day watching over the guys and making sure we were happy. I would recommend this company to any of my friends or family.
