"We not only contracted Eric Stone to install a new water heater, but to also move and install a new well pressure tank, which was failing, from under our manufactured home, to an inside storage closet location, and then re-pipe our home water supply from the new inside location of the pressure tank to the newly installed water heater. When I first met Eric for an initial bid, I felt very confident in the fact that I had chosen the right plumbing contractor for our project, and his knowledge and expertise plus his likeable demeanor did not let me down. "This was an interesting concept, but the process was cumbersome, slow,
and ultimately not too helpful. My wife an I were stuck on what to do
with redecorating, so this seemed like a good idea. For us at least, it
was not productive. It took several attempts to get a response and when
we did get a response, it was sort of vague. A few color swatches, links
to a couple of pieces of furniture, and that was about it. Our goal was
to get started with this and then move on to one-on-one consulting with
them, but the initial interaction didn't motivate us to move
forward. It is by no means a rip off. They do what they say, it just
wasn't working for us. Maybe as the idea matures it will improve. I suspect that if they raised the price they might be able to offer a more beneficial initial process.

From our first meeting we were impressed with the respectful manner & professional responses to our questions. When some of the original boards installed on the porch warped  they didn't just replace the warped area they replaced the whole floor. When the original coat of paint was too gritty they quickly added another coat of paint to make it less gritty but still made sure it wasn't too slippery. It cost a little bit more but the original concrete steps were replaced with new wooden ones that had a safer "rise" & looked better with the new railings. We've been very pleased & will definitely use Marshall services again.
