"There are not enough stars to rate Hudson Plumbing. Every time a plumber is called by a customer, it is viewed by the customer as an emergency. That, is also the view of Hudson Plumbing. Our issue was a 99% clog from the house to the sewer, backing up into our basement...on Easter Sunday. I called, they answered! AND they came out to try and open the line. Luck was not on my side this time. It couldn't be cleared and would need to be dug up and replaced. Chad, who also ran the work crew, took some photos and said he would have someone call the next morning to discuss the project. I got that call the next morning, discussed the project and got the ball rolling. They were able to move other projects around to start and finish my project the next day. Chad was back out with his crew the next morning. Chad ran his crew like a well oiled machine, completing the entire project in 3 hours! They worked with a sense of urgency without rushing. They ensured that each step in the process was done correctly before moving on the the next. Chad answered every question I had, explaining what was happening, how it was going to happen and WHY it needed to be done. This man knows his craft! Hudson Plumbing viewed my emergency as their emergency and made my house whole. Throughout the entire experience I was treated as family and not just a customer. Knowledge - 5 stars. "I called Danny's Septic Service on 09/22/14 and Evan picked up the phone immediately and provided me a quote.  The price was right (including the Angie's List coupon) and we scheduled the septic tank pumping for 09/24/14 for 1:00 PM.  On the appointment day, Evan and his colleague showed up right on time, introduced themselves and identified the location of the septic tank.  I asked <br /> <br />Evan a lot of questions regarding service of the system, how septic systems work, and even stood by and watched the process.  Evan took the time to answer all my questions and explained each step. Evan and his colleague worked efficiently and cleanly and gave me a refrigerator magnet with the next service date written on it (three years from now)!!!  I highly recommend Danny's Septic Service. <br />"

"Don't dig up your city sewer! Nu Flow will come in, line your existing one at a competitive price, and you don't have to tear up your yard, patio, sidewalk, driveway, life, etc!! "Not well. It was a young guy who did not bring the proper tools to complete the job. He said that he had forgot the rotor rooter and would need to go get it. Well, some how that changed to him saying that he tried to unplug it with some other piping tool he had but couldn't clear it and if we still wanted it clear, we would need to call back and set it up with John for an additional fee of over $200. I was not happy about this. Me and my husband decided to call a professional well service company and they told us that our well was fine. It was not going dry and what needed to be done was that the well pump had to be replaced. That company was C&J Well and Drilling from Brownsburg. If you have a well, I would highly recommend them, not John & John. We have been customers of John & John for years. They were always my go to plumbing company and I would typically probably rate them an A-B for regular plumbing service. After this apt. though, I could not ever give them a professional rating like that again. The young man was very friendly, but had to stay on the phone with his boss to figure out what the problem was. I don't think it was all his fault. I think they should have sent someone with more experience in servicing wells. I do think it's his fault for not bringing the rotor rooter though. I don't think it's appropriate to come and complete service without the proper tools. I gave the office a detailed explanation of the problems that I was experiencing and feel that they should have at least came prepared to fix the problem. I think carrying a rotor rooter should be a necessary, basic tool to carry as a plumber. Maybe I'm wrong. Just my thoughts. Unfortunately, I will not be able to use them again. I hope they are able to make some improvements to the company."
