".We discovered a leaking pipe in the wall of our master bath. We asked to have the leak repaired, which entailed removing a 6 foot long vanity. <br /> When Ken and his assistant arrived, they laid down outdoor mats and put on shoe covers before entering the house. Ken and his assistant removed the vanity, tore out the wet drywall, cut out the section of leaking pipe and replaced it, and installed four new shut-off valves for the sinks. They did excellent work in a very timely fashion. We received excellent service at a great price. (Approx. $360.) <br />  We remodeled the bathroom ourselves, and then asked Ken to return to connect two new drain lines. (Approx. $150.) As part of this service call, he checked all the plumbing in the house, including the water heater. He also used a camera to check the plumbing lines and septic system.  <br /> We are very happy with the work that was done, and with the plumbing "check-up"! Ken is very professional, friendly, and courteous. He answered all our questions, and gave us information about some of the other services Mr. Rooter offers, which we plan to use in the future. <br /> When I called to schedule both appointments, I spoke with Deborah, who is also very professional and courteous. "I did not find this service provider on Angie's list! Found it on Google Search. The ones I contacted on Angie's List (four providers) were unable to come out the same day and the charge quoted was pretty much the same found on Google Search. Spartan Plumbing did come out within the hour and fixed the problem. So my experience with Angie's List was an unproductive use of my time and money. It may serve its purpose as advertised but with the information out there for all it seems useless. <br />"

"While their quote was higher than others, they included many items we wanted and threw in the water heater as a bonus. Once we decided, they were out in 2 days and completed all the work in one day. Clean, neat, professional and explained everything after to ensure we knew how it worked. They even sent a QC inspector the next week to confirm everything was done correctly and answer questions. "They were called in the morning and we got an afternoon appointment, which is what we wanted since both my husband and I work.  They showed up on time and professionally setup their equipment and performed the task efficiently and correctly.  The workers were very polite during the whole process.  Overall my experience with them was good, but I would have rated them excellent if their costs had not gone up...again.  <br /> We have been using the same company for about 7 years and the cost has gone up by 80% in the last three years.  Although, to be fair we probably got a deal at $49 several years ago, but since then the price has gone up to $59, then to $69 and now it's at $79.50.  That's a lot of money for only about 15-20mins of work.  I did not compare their pricing with any other company, so their costs maybe comparable to others.  We trust them to do a good job so we tend to stick with what we know...hopefully their costs will not continue to to outpace inflationary rates. <br />"
