"Mariano Aragon did a fantastic job of repairing some seriously damaged areas in my kitchen and guest bathroom. After the plumbing repairs were complete both rooms were a disaster area. Mariano came to the rescue, rebuilt all the structural damage and did beautuful refinishing of the plaster and and a masterful job of marrying the new tiles he replaced with the existing tiles that weren’t damaged. I am more than happy with the final results! Mariano was cheerful, thoughtful and completely reliable through out the days of his restoration project for me. "Sergio arrived punctually and analyzed the materials he would need for the repairs. He went to a local near-by hardware store and purchased the necessary sheet rock, which I paid for as it was an extra item. In order to get at the damage, he had to pull off a large 4x4 section of peg-board that itself had been torn. We discussed what might be done to replace,the peg-board but made no decision at that time. I left him to do the work, but when I returned, he had removed the peg-board so carefully that it could be remounted and used again, over the now completely repaired and re plastered damage! He also had spied a crack in the garage ceiling that I had overlooked, and repaired it with tape at his own initiative! Impressive work! I would call upon D&R again for this kind of repair. They also do other kinds of construction work, such as replacing cracked sidewalk or worn driveways."

"It went extremely well. The technician from Illinois Garage Repair was very professional and did an excellent job in replacing the garage door opener. He even went "beyond the call of duty" by programming all of my remote controls."

"There was some minor conflict over the scheduling of the appointment. The contractor was not pleased with the fact that I had some limitations in my schedule. When he called to make an appointment, he wanted to tell me when he would come without asking first whether I would be available on the date he had chosen. I was going to be out of town, so I told him that time wouldn't work. He said he'd already made up his schedule and he'd have to move everything around. That didn't seem like a problem to me, since I felt he should have asked me when I would be available before making his schedule. After that, the two men who came to do the work showed up when we agreed they should and did the work in a timely fashion. I was not entirely satisfied with the fact that I paid for eight hours of work and got only six to seven hours of work total. However, they did complete the repairs that we agreed they would do to my satisfaction. I said I wouldn't use this company again, but that's only because "Not Sure" wasn't an option. I was pleased with the work they did, but I would be more careful about the specifics of scheduling and the amount of time I paid for before beginning. I would also get more estimates of work from more companies, but I don't intend that to be a reflection on Power Construction. In fact, for future work, I would probably choose to get an estimate from them, too.
