"I called Chris at Glenn Tatum Plumbing Service to give me an estimate on the cost of installing a hot water heater that we had purchased. He quoted me an amount for installation and that was the amount I paid. He estimated that it would be 2 hours to install and it only took 1 1/2 hours. When Chris took the new hot water heater out of the box he noticed that it was dented, he suggested contacting the store we purchased it from to get a refund or a discount. I did call the store and they were able to give me a discount. I had used Chris from Glenn Tatum Plumbing Service just the month prior using Angie's List coupon and he had done such a great job I called him back.

David's quote was less than half the price even when I told him what my original installer was about to charge and very reasonable considering the amount of work involved. The reinstallation was very good, even better than the original install by another company. They used updated mounting hardware and did a tidy job with cable management. 3D Solar sent out crews right away to sort out a small technical issue with the inverter that became apparent after installation. "Installing the electrical service and providing an opening to run cables from the linen closet to the living room turned out to be a major project in itself because we discovered an interior concrete wall inside behind the drywall that separated the two. The guys had to drill through the concrete to install the outlet and to created an opening to run cables from the closet to the TV and DVR in the living room. That same concrete wall complicated installing the power outlet near the AC & hot water heater and the wall light in the area. It ended up being easier to tap power from the guest bathroom and route it through the AC closet than to drill another set of holes in the concrete. All of this added substantially to the time required to do the work, and hence to the cost, but it was worth it. Despite the unexpected problems the guys were able to figure out a way to get the result I wanted, and I'm delighted with the final outcome."

"They did a great job. The sales person who did the presentation was very professional. Our water quality was very bad with high amounts of sulfur and iron. They installed the system a couple of weeks ago and it works wonderfully. We are using less soap and the quality is perfect. We would definitely use them again."
