"Definitely recommend this place , I went with ceramic tint , wow what a difference truck stays cooler . The bright morning sun doesn’t blind me anymore. . Landon a master of his skill windows had no bubbles at all . I chose a lighter shade than the black out to match factory tint on back windows . As close to perfect as you can get. Love it . I’m super happy so is my Tacoma .will go back there in future. Thanks Landon. "

"We hired Homefix to install wood floors on the main level of our home. The contractor who did the work did a horrible job. He did not stain under the fridge, the stove (or the toilet-as we found out later). This contractor was later fired, and Homefix still stands by their work. It’s been a couple of years and the floors are now warped, scratched and the stain is splotchy. We asked for 2 coats of polyurethane, and we received none. We recently asked them to come out and look at it. The owner came out and brought another contractor with him. They said they could redo the floors at full price. When the contractor was alone with my husband, he told him that it was shoddy work and that the original contractor had done a horrible job. We’ve asked Homefix to fix the problem and the owner still maintains that the original job was fine. We’ve tried hard to be cordial and understanding, but we are getting frustrated."

"Absolute worse company to use and WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Had my car tinted through dealership contract and wanted to go darker and Andy said he could layer tint to make it dark and his techs did it and they trapped lint in between the tint and said they would fix and kept my car for 3 days and only tried to fix 2 windows with the same issues, when I questioned him about it he said "we don't warranty layered tint." This was the job he said they could do and won't fix it or make it right. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. I would pay out of pocket and will now have to because of their incompetence. They can't even get the clear puddle guards over the side mirrors right. I will say Chris was kind and empathetic but this company is not a company I would ever recommend and THEY DONT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK...stay away..."

FAQs for window tinting application or replacement projects in Colorado Springs, CO

Smart glass uses a film that allows you to control visibility, ranging from a perfectly clear view to total darkness or privacy. You can buy the products when you replace your windows or ask a pro to retrofit them to the existing ones. There are various smart glass windows to choose from, depending on your budget and project needs.

Smart glass can last between 20 and 30 years, or about 100,000 hours when powered on. Smart window film typically has a shorter lifespan of around 10 years. The actual lifespan depends on how often you use the smart features. Once it reaches the end of its life span, you can replace it with regular glass, which costs about $280 on average.

Yes, smart glass works at night, but its functionality depends on the type you have. Some types, like smart tint, are controlled by outdoor light and become transparent after dark. Others, like PDLC smart glass, allow you to adjust them to stay opaque or transparent at any time, giving you privacy whenever you need it.
