"Jeff made everything super easy! He was very responsive, got us a quote quickly and was punctual. He patched 20 square feet of carpet and I can’t even tell that the difference between the existing carpet and the patched area. He was courteous and professional. Highly recommend!"

"I think they are five-star. The owner/operator, Tom, is smart, reasonable, and gives good information. He also supervises his team well. If I ever needed new carpet, I will call them. I think the quality of the installation was superior."

"The sales rep, Dave, was very easy to work with. He came out and measured and provided a free estimate. The price was very competitive. 2 installers came and got right to work. They propped my security door open to carry things in and out and a gust of wind came and cracked the door frame. Dave arranged to have it fixed and it?s just like new. I?m very happy with the new carpet. I would use them again. <br />"

"We had a water leak and the carpet pad in our guest bedroom became saturated and needed to be replaced. <br /> Bob's brother came out to our house, removed pad, put down new pad, stretched carpet and taped the seams again. <br /> This was the 3rd time the carpet was repaired and they did a great job. It has saved us the cost of putting down new carpet. <br /> I would not hesitate to hire this company to repair my carpet or lay new carpet. Highly recommended. <br />"

"The owner of the company kept in touch with me twice prior to the appointment time to confirm the schedule and allow for any adjustments.  I thought that was very thorough and well appointed.  They arrived actually a little early (which was also communicated) and re-stretched my carpet in a small entertainment room.  Carpets and pad were in good shape and there was no urgency or pressure for added services. I did inquire about carpet and upholstery care.  And Randy was very thorough and detailed about the carpet and upholstery requirements; and their techniques in helping the homeowner maintain their floors and furniture for maximum investment savings.  He gave me several quotes on regular and annual maintenance which I thought was very reasonable.  The job was performed to my complete satisfaction and I will use them in the future for regular scheduled cleanings and maintenance.  <br />"

"The sales person we dealt with was very courteous and took the time to explain their product. He helped us measure and gave recommendations on our situation with our RV. He gave us several generous samples to take home and see what matched the best. <br /> Although they didn't do RV installations, he recommended an installer whom we selected. The installation was good. <br /> We are pleased with the product and the service provided. <br />"

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Colorado Springs, CO

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
