"Kell installed LVP in both the master bedroom and bathroom of a house we recently purchased. He did an excellent job and worked hard to finish the work done early so we could move into our new home before our lease was up. The entire process was straightforward and clear, from the initial consultation and estimate to the final walkthrough and payment. Trevor gave me the initial estimate and updated the estimate when our priorities and budget changed. Kell was a pleasure to work with. It was nice to have him in our home. He's friendly and knowledgeable. When an issue with the subfloor required additional work, Kell made sure I knew how much it would cost to repair. He also gave me the option to pick up the materials he needed so I could avoid the markup Cransten would charge if he picked up the materials. This was clearly explained before, so I wasn't blindsided and could decide which option would be best for me. It was a fantastic experience all around!"

"I am a retired General Contractor from the Midwest and these guys are excellent. They showed up quickly, great customer service skills, and fixed several items on my house perfectly. They will be my new "go to" contractor for the future. "

"Great experience! I’m a very happy customer and they did quick and quality work. Great communication throughout. I truly felt that they cared from start to finish. Our remodel was also knocking down a large pole/pillar and half wall and it opened up our entire townhome. The construction work was thorough and tile work was amazing. Best I’ve seen and I’ve been through a few remodels. I’d hire this team again! "
New and beautiful. And yes, the mold was cleaned up (not just installed over like many companies do).

"New bathroom floor is fabulous. Throughout the entire process Brian kept me informed about what he was doing and how it was going. Will definitely hire him for my next home improvement project."

FAQs for remodel to accommodate a disability projects in Colorado Springs, CO

Standard Medicare coverage often doesn't extend to home modifications, such as roll-in showers. In specific circumstances where medical necessity is clearly established, limited coverage might be available through certain Medicare programs. Many homeowners explore alternative funding sources such as home modification grants, veterans' benefits, or specialized financing programs designed for accessibility improvements. Consulting with a Medicare representative about your specific situation provides the most accurate guidance.

Roll-in showers deliver significant benefits beyond their monetary return, particularly in terms of safety, independence, and long-term accessibility. By eliminating barriers to bathing, these installations help prevent falls while accommodating mobility devices, such as wheelchairs or walkers. Their open design creates a contemporary appearance that appeals to many homebuyers. For households planning to age in place or accommodate family members with mobility challenges, the functional advantages often outweigh pure financial considerations.

A standard roll-in shower installation takes two to four days. Projects requiring extensive renovation or plumbing changes may take longer, potentially extending to several weeks or months. Factors affecting the timeline include existing bathroom configuration, permit processing times, contractor availability, and material delivery schedules. Creating proper drainage slopes often requires additional preparation time compared to traditional shower installations, particularly when modifying existing floor structures.
