More often than not, I feel like the work was overpriced, with hidden costs popping up along the way, then the workers leave with the work not even completed and never return for repairs to a job that was not done well to begin with. So, working with Elite Thermal was a happy experience, worth sharing. The cost was highly competitive. The work was well explained in advance by Chad, who was also here the morning of the work to oversee his crew. Pictures were taken before and after. Workers were timely, polite, clean and profession. Even once the work was completed, I was able to get modified receipts for rebate purposes to meet what was required. The technicians were expert at drilling the holes, adding the insulation and clean up. "I am amazed at the difference the insulation has made. Last summer, when I kept the thermostat at 74, the air upstairs always felt heavy, but it was freezing downstairs, and the A/C was cycling with only brief interruptions. Since the work was done at my house 2 weeks ago, I have been able to do without A/C most days. A temperature of 75 upstairs without A/C is now more comfortable than a lower temperature with A/C last year. When I did turn on my A/C last weekend, I was surprised that it would kick in only every 25-30 minutes or so. While the lower level was slightly cooler than upstairs, it was still very comfortable -- on both levels. My only regret is that I did not call on Complete Home Solutions earlier. From Ben who clearly explained my insulation options and the benefits of cellulose, to JB and Jason who did the installation cleanly and efficiently, to Allen who stopped by later to make sure I was happy with the service, to the people who answer the phone... Dealing with this company has been a pleasure from beginning to end. JB took a lot of before-and-after pictures, which was a good way for me to visualize the work done without having to go to the attic. The best part, of course, is to live in a comfortable home. "Great! Job was complete .... removal of existing 50+ year old insulation, air sealing attic, baffle installation, installed 18 inches new fiberglass blown insulation, and new whole-house fan. Job started and completed as proposed. Crew on-time, quietly performed their work, and left spaces clean when done. Definitely worth the cost as noticeable improvement in second floor temperature and humidity readings."

"Kyle was so amazing to work with! He was polite and professional and did really great work. Smart Energy Pros helped us to get rebates from BGE that covered a majority of the costs. We feel a noticeable difference in our home now after having our attics insulation issues fixed! Kyle even spotted multiple other issues regarding our kitchens vent emptying into our attic as opposed to outside of the home. He also installed a fan in our bathroom which has helped immensely with the steam from our showers. "We contacted Atlas for an attic insulation estimate. They persuaded us to pay $100 for an energy audit which put us into the Maryland rebate program. As we discussed the project I told the estimator that our kids bedrooms had never gotten much airflow. He said they could seal the holes in the ducts with a spray system. Long story -short: they found we were losing 49% of our conditioned air through holes in the ducts into walls and ceilings. Atlas did the insulation, the duct sealing, installed exhaust fans in the bathrooms, sealed basement walls, and weather-sealed two doors. Their workers were professional, efficient, and incredibly courteous. With the rebate we got incredible value for our costs. Not cheap but worth every penny. HIghly recommended."

Atlas estimate was lower for a more extensive work, and when combined with the rebate from BGE, turned out to be a highly reasonable deal.
