"After Hurricane Helene the pressed board siding around our fireplace chimney was in bad shape. Adding to that was the fact the roofers who replaced our roof afterwards did not install proper flashing on our garage (which contacts the chimney) and it exacerbated the situation. Pressed board was peeling away from the structure, warped, and expanded from water intrusion and a number of areas. We wanted to replace the entire exterior of the chimney with Hardie Board and have any of the water damaged under layers replaced with OSB and have the entire structure wrapped. We received a number of competitive estimates, but the estimate from Umbrella was by far the lowest and included more work than the others. The owner, Eduardo, is knowledgeable, experienced, and very professional. He assured us that he could have all of the work done to proper standard and completed within 48 hours. We were not disappointed. His team of workers were quick, efficient, and hard-working. Thanks Umbrella!"

"Capital Palmetto Builders (CPB) did a great job on my roof. Darryl Phelps kept me informed during the entire process and treated the installation as if he was doing his own home. Darryl even provided status reports with pictures to let me know how the job was progressing and when the job would be complete. CPB used a drone to inspect the roof to eliminate the risk of further damage by walking around on the existing shingles. The drone images also provided an opportunity to show me what different color options I had on deciding which shingle to choose. I thought I only had a small leak that needed repair; however, I had much more damage than expected and the entire roof was replaced for my insurance deductible only! Darryl worked closely with the insurance adjuster to get full approval without me having to get involved which eliminated any interruption to my busy work schedule. I was very impressed with their expertise and agility on this 10/12 pitch roof. They worked from ropes and didn't need toeboards and that was a good selling point for me. "Steve repaired a leaking porch roof that was caused when the original roofer in 2010 did not put a moisture barrier down. He took pictures prior to giving us estimate to show us details on roof (boots needed caulking) where we did not have to climb roof ourselves to see. His crew was very professional and cleaned up after leaving all just as before, just with a non-leaking porch! We and members of our family have used him from doing entire roofs to roofing repairs.
