"My home is a very contemporary with asphalt shingle roof & cedar siding, however, the builder/architect incorporated a flat membrane roof at the entry that has been highly problematic (translation - prone to leakage). Low windows made proper flashing very difficult. Brian came up with a solution that involved removal of one wall of siding, the existing membrane, and the gutters, and then completely reworking the flashing and window seals prior to installation of a new roof, siding, and gutters. "We used Storm Guard for storm damage to our roof. We could tell we had a small leak due to a wet water spot on the ceiling from inside the house. This is our first owned home and have lived here for 10 years. We never had to go through this process before so I honestly didnt know how it worked. After each larger storm there were several contractors that would stop by and tell me they will get the insurance to buy a new roof. After a few failed attempts and insurance denying the claims I gave up and decided to start saving money for a new roof. Then Gavin stopped by with Storm Guard after the last larger storm. Once approved and materials ordered, Gavin had a team out here in less than a month and we had a new roof. It made a HUGE difference to the outside appearance of our home. So much so that I felt some other DIY work needed done so it motivated me to complete some other aesthetics to the outside of our house. I was not paid or swayed to say any of these things.
