""I recently hired Southeast Applied Roofing and couldn't be happier with the results. From the initial estimate to the final walkthrough, the team was communicative and transparent about the process. The crew arrived on time, worked hard, and finished the project exactly when they said they would. It’s rare to find such reliable service these days. Excellent craftsmanship and great customer service!""

"Scott, Eric, and Andrea are efficient, friendly, and make it all very easy. The price was fair and competitive. The installers showed up on time and went to work. When we returned home the following day, our home had only the aroma of a fresh coat of paint. All very reassuring. The building inspector examined everything carefully and we passed. Every contractor can learn from how Barrier treats customers. Good communication is skill #1. Thank you!"

"The workers were an hour late but called to let me know. When they got here, they got right to work and completed the work within an hour and a half. They were professional, courteous, and left my house looking like they had never been here. Eric K came out to estimate the job and fully explained the work they would perform. All in all, I would definitely recommend Aladdin for blown in insulation."

"Kevin Rowe was AWESOME to work with!! He came out to my house the day after I called for an estimate, was able to show me exactly what the problems were with my attic and why we were getting repeated mold in certain parts of our ceiling, and then had a very reasonable estimate to me within two days. They got to us within a month, but we had to post-pone due to illness in the house and then they were able to get us right back on the schedule when we were ready. I am proud to use a business that loves America. These people worked so hard, left NO mess behind, and were finished in a few hours. The humidity level in my house has decreased significantly and there has been no new mold growth so we are thrilled. Support businesses that support our country and do a great job!"

FAQs for spray foam insulation projects in Commerce, GA

Local and federal rebates are available for insulation installation, which can significantly reduce your overall costs. Many utility companies offer incentives or rebates to homeowners who improve their home's energy efficiency. Contact your local energy provider or government agencies to learn about available programs in your area, and consult with a professional insulation installer to maximize your savings.

It's not necessary to remove old insulation before adding new insulation, as long as the existing insulation is in good condition—dry, free of mold, and not damaged. Adding new insulation on top of old insulation can improve your home's energy efficiency by increasing the overall R-value. However, if the old insulation is wet, moldy, or damaged, it's best to remove it before installing new insulation to prevent potential health risks and ensure optimal performance.

Insulating a house takes between five and twelve hours for batts or boards, and two to five hours for spray foam or blown-in insulation. The exact time depends on the size of your home, the type of insulation, and the accessibility of the areas being insulated. Keep in mind that projects may take longer if old insulation needs removal, if there's a larger square footage, or if spaces are difficult to reach.
