"We had recently purchased a house and were looking to ultimately re-do the basement. Given the age of the house (built in 1912), we knew there would be asbestos SOMEWHERE in the house and testing showed that a good portion of the basement tile (which had just been carpeted over) was asbestos. We bid the project out to three different providers and got estimates all over the place - from about $2000 to upwards of $10,000. At first, we were a little hesitant to go with the lower-cost option because asbestos removal is nothing to skimp on. However, after talking with John about their process and the precautions they take, we felt comfortable going with them. Once we were scheduled, everything went very smoothly: they were on time, professional, thorough, and completed the job in the time allotted (even finishing a little earlier than we expected).
