Our new kitchen is everything we hoped it would be and more. We hired IND Construction. The quality of their work was first rate. The workers were invariably highly skilled, friendly and considerate. The job was completed on budget with no surprises for extras. Erez Shifferman, IND’s Senior Project Manager, and Allan Pineda, IND’s foreman for the job, guided us through all aspects of the renovation with skill and kindness. Whenever we had to choose designs, Erez and his team advised us well, demonstrating their extensive knowledge of this business. Whatever we asked to have done was done just as we requested. Whenever issues arose, Erez and Allan resolved them patiently and effectively. When a major kitchen renovation is in progress, there is a risk living in the house will become intolerable. Everything Erez, Allan and IND could do to minimize inconvenience for us was done effectively. The workers cleaned up carefully after each work day. We were surprised our lives could continue with a minimum of upheaval. We could not be happier or more grateful. Our high expectations for what our kitchen would become have been exceeded. We love how it looks, how it functions and how spectacular the views from it have become. It has been a great pleasure to have IND build it for us."

He was so helpful in suggesting some possible layouts and making sure we got the perfect size and look for our design. "I was referred to 800 Remodeling by Angie's List, and the owner, Amir, called me literally minutes after I received the referral. I described my situation to him and we scheduled a meeting at my home for the following day. He arrived promptly and immediately introduced himself with a picture ID and his state contractor's license. After inspecting the cracks that were of concern to me in a structural post supporting a major beam, he took some pictures and promised to get back to me with some recommendations. The next day, he called just as he had promised, told me that after talking with a structural specialist he did not believe the post needed to be replaced, but nevertheless gave me a rough-order-of-magnitude estimate on what a replacement would cost, should I decide to have that done. After some additional research, I concluded that the cracks are typical and not impairing the structural integrity of the post, and decided for added insurance simply to reinforce the post with some wrap-around steel bands. Since that is a small and simple job, Amir offered to refer me to someone else to do that job for me. He did not charge me for the consultation or the time he spent in discussions with other specialists. So although I ultimately didn't hire him for this job, I was impressed by his professionalism and shall definitely be contacting him again for some larger jobs I am planning in the future."

"I needed two exterior door jambs repaired on a historical home in Santa Ana. The bottom of the jambs, where they met the thresholds, were rotted and decayed. Additionally, there was possible damage to the bottom plate, trimmers, and king studs. I contacted McGee construction for the estimate. The estimate was more than fair so I accepted. Eric, the finish carpenter, came out and completed the repairs. He draped the room with plastic to protect the furniture, floors, and rest of the house. The repairs took three days and look fantastic. He was able to match up the new jambs to the existing arch doorways and thresholds. He recreated new casings to match the old door casings. Eric rehung the doors and the doors now open and close beautifully. Additionally, the new paint and stain matches the original. Good communication with the company, I was kept informed of the repairs, and they cleaned the job site everyday. i would hire them again without a doubt."
