"We hired Jim Longden in 2023 to install flooring in our dining room, kitchen, and downstairs bathroom. He also installed a vanity, sink, and toilet for us. He claimed he was capable of doing that work and we hired him in good faith. He made some egregious errors which caused flooding and water damage that was discovered in 2024. Uber our toilet the blocking was gone and the hole under our toilet was too big. He also never sealed the toilet in the floor so you could just wiggle it around in the bathroom floor! A professional contractor would never make these mistakes. Water leaked underneath our bathroom, kitchen, and dining room floors and they all had to be torn out. We had to pay for the repairs out of our own pocket so we are currently $30,000 in debt. We are still fighting with his insurance to pay for this! DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN. "

They paid attention to detail; when my project manager saw me stripping the trim for reuse, they recommended buying new trim and a lumber yard to get it. And it makes a big difference having new trim with clean, sharp lines. Their tile work took longer than expected, but the miter cuts the trim cuts, and the finish is excellent. They were consistently punctual, respectful of my home, and very tidy - tidying up at the end of each day. While the project took longer than anticipated, the reasonable cost and the team's meticulous attention to detail compensated for it. Coen Brothers Construction also expertly handled all necessary permits and inspections, keeping me informed every step of the way. Overall, I am satisfied with their work and would hire them again for my next project."
